Anyone hear Glenn Beck yesterday? about disarming?

Yesterday while in a store downtown, my husband heard on the radio, on Glenn Beck's show, him talking about the thing that Biden was talking about the day or two after the inauguration was actually disarming America. Anyone else hear this? » |

Don't be fooled
You cannot go head-to-head with the military or law enforcement. They are far superior in training and firepower. However, by blending in and taking what they give a person could perhaps cause many problems. To think otherwise, is suicidal. Besides, many military and law enforcement are seeing the same things we are. I have a brother who is a cop.
Last I checked...
The US has not won any major conflict it has been in lately. And pretty much it's been against militia, citizens, and small military. When people actually decide to fight back, it does not matter how much might our military has. Look at all we threw at Vietnam. Look at what we're throwing at Iraq and we're really not getting anywhere. Imagine if even 1 million Iraqi's decided to take up arms tomorrow.
Iraq doesn't have anywhere near the amount of people that the USA had, nor the amount of firearms.
I'm not advocating going up against police or military in this country, but I am trying to point out that you are highly underestimating how much power the people of this country actually have if they choose to use it together. They can have the bigger guns all they want. A few big guns is nothing compared to a few million guns. Sure they may kill more with their one shot, but they would be quickly overtaken. It would be a foolish move for them to actually try to launch an all out assault on the people of this country (even more so, and more violently than the police already are).
Approximately 80 million known gun owners, and roughly 290 million guns.

I have a friend in a Spanish class I am taking. I was talking to her yesterday and asked her what her husband does because he travels a lot. He is a salesman for laser scopes for weapons. Of course the biggest purchaser is the military. But, she said in the economic downturn business is booming. Why? Because more Americans are buying guns and want these scopes. So, we will not go gently into that good night.

I cannot recall which Bill or Executive Order it was, but somewhere there is some piece of paper saying that the US will disarm its citizens to comply with a UN directive.
Wow. That is some crappy "reporting" with no sources at all. Oh well, someone here will come up with the paper I am referring to, they always do. What a brain trust here, yet nothing really "grows" from here any more. It used to be THE place to plant a "viral" seed, I miss that. It made us an effective movement instead of just another place to check the news.

Obama has been the front guy on this UN policy which goes back to Carter. Of corse it was called something else at that time. Clinton endorsed it as well. People need to realize that we are following MULTIPLE UN directives, treaties and policies.

Biden was addressing some gun toting crowd in VA, and he said that Barak will not disarm the populace. He also said that the Republican party will try to convince us that he will take guns away from citizens.
