Sarah Palin Supports New 9/11 Investigation
John McCain’s presidential running mate Sarah Palin, much to the bewilderment of the 9/11 truth community, seemingly expressed support for a new investigation into the terrorist attacks during a rally in Ohio last week.
Asked by We Are Change Ohio, “Do you support the family members and first responders who are calling for a new 9/11 investigation?,” Palin responded, “I do.”
“I do because I think that helps us get to the point of never again, and if anything that we could do could still complete that reminder out there,” the Alaska Governor added.
Palin was aware of the context because she then asked the cameraman if he had been affected by 9/11.
Of course, one would have to be incredibly naive to think that Palin, at best a befuddled Republican poster child and at worst another establishment Neo-Con, would follow through on her support and back a new 9/11 investigation should John McCain snatch victory from the jaws of defeat and take the White House.
And despite the fact that John McCain himself once gladly posed with 9/11 truth activists for photographs, the Arizona Senator penned a scathing foreword to Popular Mechanics’ (non-political, they assure us) hit piece book Debunking 9/11 Myths, in which he claimed that questioning the official 9/11 story is an insult to the victims, despite the fact that the victims and first responders are the ones calling for a new investigation.
For most people, Palin’s expression of support for a new investigation seems to be borne out of a desperate attempt to say anything to get votes as McCain slips further behind Obama in the polls on a daily basis with the election just five days away.
Other politicians who have been confronted on 9/11 by chapters of We Are Change have either ignored the question altogether, or in the case of Bill Clinton, gone on the offensive and verbally scorned 9/11 truth activists.

WOW! I have to go against the grain on this one.
Well, that's not unusual for me I suppose, but I was impressed. She jumped right in there and did it! She didn't try to finagle her way out of it. I know it's popular to bash her and all, and I know there's good cause for concern regarding qualifications, but I think she stated her support right away. I think what she did was VERY brave, as it comes with great political risk. Look at the context though too. Now if it was Luke Rudkowski all "in her face about building 7" then her response would have been much different I'm sure. I like the tact the interviewer had. That is so rare for We Are Change. He really did a good job of showing empathy, and stuck to the EPA and 1st responders. WTG We Are Change and Sarah Palin! I'm blown away.
I hope We Are Change guys watch this over and over and learn from it. If they do, I think they'll start getting a lot more positive responses to their questions.
I agree with you
and I don't think she said it 'just to get votes'. I believe she would follow through on it. I like her. I would rather she was running for president instead of McCain.
sure wish i had your optimism : )

i agree with everyone
that she is just blabbering to get votes. But my question is...has this shown up on the MSM yet? When Paul was asked a question from 911 truth they plastered it everywhere labeling him a kook. Are they gonna do the same to her? Of course not.
If
She would demand that Obama show a "birth certificate" I "might" give her some credit for being a person.

My take on the video
was she had no idea what she was really saying.
Remember, Bill Kristol picked her as the VP & he is smack in the middle of the crime.
As usual
She had no idea what she was saying. I believe she meant she wanted to keep the wars going and possibly even find more "terrorist" to blame. Not try to see if things did'nt happen according to the official lie.
Cold hard fact is - Obama or McCain WILL be the next pres
Lets say Palin honestly WOULD support an investigation. Lets say there would definitely be an investigation if McCain were elected...would that be enough to sway your 3rd party vote to McCain? or would you vote conscience still and persue an investigation through other channels? (provided you even want a new investigation of course)

This close to election day she'd be willing to promise to "nuke
gay whales for Christ" if she thought itd help. She knows none of her supporters will stop supporting her if she says she is "pro investigation" and she realises that there are alot of people who are undecided or 3rd party who may just give her a vote figuring either she or obama will win anyway.

Oh I LOVE that slogan....
"Nuke gay whales for Christ"! Would that fit on a bumper sticker?

F.Y.I.- I still wouldn't vote for Mccain
Nothing more than a last minute lie to try to get more votes. I personally will be writing in Ron Paul.

Writing in Ron Paul at this
Writing in Ron Paul at this point is truly wasting your vote. If you like him so much, why not do as he suggested and vote for Chuck Baldwin? At least Baldwin is in the race and will likely get the majority of third party votes.
I'll just have to assume that
Baldwin is on my ballot here in Idaho. If the Good Dr. gave his support to Baldwin then I'll vote accordingly. Do you have a link to where Ron Paul said that? EDIT- I googled it myself. I will vote Chuck Baldwin.
