Opinion of Obama's redistribution of wealth program

One reporter commented after hearing McCain bashing Obama for this line, that, isn't any tax the same thing and since McCain still advocates taxes, isn't he being hypocritical? (I'm paraphrasing)

I loved this comment because it proves Ron Paul all over again. He is thoroughly consistent in his ideas and policies. He always said to abolish the income tax and the IRS because anything less would not be in line with his philosophy. I love the Dr.!

"Redistrubution of wealth" is nothing more than legalized theft. The only difference between an armed thug robbing me and the government is that the theif at least shows you his gun.... governments hide behind incomprehensible laws and mahogany desks and are taking wealth by force also, in that their ultimate arguement is the threat of jail time or the point of a gun. By this philosophy, what would stop me from forcing a multimillionare at gunpoint or some sort of duress to give me a portion of his wealth? He is obviously more productive than I am, and I NEED the money more than he does..... Obama is promoting pure socialism, and I'll bet he would melt like the witch in the "Wizard of Oz" if you threw an Ayn Rand book in his lap. Why should I have to give up my hard earned money to buy 'health care' for some crack-head's kids when I'm already being taxed so much that I can't afford it for my own. What if I don't WANT to pay for illegal immigrant's education and food stamps, huh? ... oh, wait..... I'll go to jail if I refuse. This is insane! When you live in a world where a person is PUNISHED for being productive, it won't be long before most people say screw it, I'll sit on my ass and let the few people with a work ethic pay for my every need. I, for one, am getting damn tired of being used as the beast of burden. Fu*k Obama and his "Redistrubuition of Wealth" talk.
