Paul should take two states!

I was thinking about this and if the Republican Party / McCain campaign was smart they should be telling all republicans in the two states that Paul is on the ballot to VOTE FOR RON PAUL!.
The people that are going to vote for Paul are going take away from McCain and help Obama win those state electorates. If PAUL WINS those Electorate votes are basically taken out of the game lowering the bar for McCain to win.
Now I don't really want either of them to win but it is a strategy where PAUL would win all states he is on the ballot in and I would laugh my @$$ off on election day. :)

I had a customer come by today and said he loves Ron Paul
He's a 50-something black guy from DC and he WAS voting for Obama. As soon as I told him Chuck Baldwin is endorsed by Dr Paul, he said, "Well, I guess Baldwin's my guy then." Then as we were driving to the gas station, we passed a pick-up with a Ron Paul sticker on the front and back!! I love it!
As an aside, the area I live in is called "Freedom". and I graduated from "Liberty" HS in the same town. I think I'm in a great area.

while that would be awesome,
while that would be awesome, Dr. Paul would have to be campaigning... besides, we simply don't have the votes/man power, money, time, etc.
I'm convinced if Ron Paul was running as an independent he could win a couple states, or at least get 20%.
Um, no. Not at all. But it was a nice try
You need 270 electoral votes to win, period. 270. 270. Not one less.

RP2012!
You're absolutely wrong.
A) McCain needs over 50% of the electoral vote to win.
B) McCain is playing defense.
Ceding a few states to Ron Paul would only serve to make McCain look weak, and would increase the chance that there would be an electoral stalemate.
