Here's an idea for the libertarians, what do you think?
So I just filled out my absentee ballot, and I noticed something interesting. The only office that 3rd parties were running for were the presidency. All the other federal, state, and local seats were Republican vs. Democrat (with one exception, where an independent was running). This, to me, feels like me trying out for the NFL, when I didn't play football in college or high school.
Why do you think the libertarian party isn't focusing on local candidates? Ron Paul raised a bunch of money from grassroots, doesn't it make sense the revolution would start there, instead of these hail mary passes to the end zone?
Let the libertarians win local offices, then state offices, then federal offices. Then, I believe, they would be more credible to the masses for the presidency. There are no shortcuts in this day and age.
