Ron Paul was right
Well, unfortunately for us
Well, unfortunately for us here in Australia, we don't have a bill of rights, and we have nothing in our constitution that specifically defines the right to free speech.
Is this or is this not a

The internet represents the last unfiltered news source...
..and it scares the shit out of those trying to control you.
They will do anything to pull the plug on it, and will eventually.
I may not know the truth, but I know when I'm being lied to...
I may not know the truth, but I know when I'm being lied to...
Without a doubt...this is THE biggest threat we face today...

Unbelievable !
Time to say good-bye to our Australian DP'ers? Given the 'mixed content' of this site, it's rather realistical it will be put on the list.

Ron Paul is the leading 'Alternate' at http://www.thefreeworldvotes.com too
Yep, I live in Australia and
Yep, I live in Australia and I am outraged. I've been writing to the minister responsible for this and my own member for parliament.
I've been toying with the idea of a Ron Paul style money-bomb for the civil liberties group that is fighting against this censorship. (Their website: http://nocleanfeed.com/)
Our previous government put up a net-nanny type program that parents could optionally download. This new government feels it is their responsibility to waste MILLIONS of tax-payer dollars on a system that will not only censor free speech but also decrease the overall speed of our already sub-standard internet.
great
govt approved porn eventually. If you like the ill freaky nah nah better push for a repub congress. Dems are pretty vanilla.

Now if your have PeerGuardian you can watch the: China Education and Research Network keep an eye on your connection and presumably their Citizens. You get the idea! This Chinese connection usually shows up when I'm uploading torrent files. I have Fabled Enemies and Zero Investigation at this time.
And:
Chinanet network i n W u h a n c i t y H u b e i p r o v i n c e
some others.. lots of Universities: U.S and World wide watch torrent files though.
I don't promote the program (had it for years) but you may find it interesting to watch who's comin' 'n goin' on your internet connection. Oh, the program is free.
note: the original man who made PeerGuardian was being sued by some Government agency or a private company, not sure which, so he handed it over to a larger group of people and they have it up, for 2-3 years or so now.
"sourceforge" I'll dig it up, here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/peerguardian
actually, I think this was or is the original person who made the program:

looks like his site may be workin' now
