Barcode Info. Where is your candy from?

0 votes

The whole world is scared of China made 'black hearted goods'. Can you differentiate which one is made in the USA , Philippines , Taiwan or China ? For your Information ... the first 3 digits of the barcode is the country code wherein the product was made.

Sample: all barcodes that start with 690.691.692 until 695 are all MADE IN CHINA .
471 is Made in Taiwan

This is our human right to know, but the government and related department never educate the public, therefore we have to RESCUE ourselves.

Nowadays, Chinese businessmen know that consumers do not prefer products 'made in china', so they don't show from which country it is made.

However, you may now refer to the barcode, remember if the first 3 digits is 690-695 then it is Made in China .

Confusion

I've never read a barcode before, so I found the first barcode nearest me on a gallon jug of Ice Mountain water: 83046 0004. Please decode this for me. It says the sources are in Michigan.
Thank you.

Hershey, Mars and Nestle

Are all now making their candy with GMO beet sugar. YUMMMMM Genetically modified candy! What will they think of next?

THANKS !!!!! and 2 things

1st - what's the source of the bar code info ? Just wondering.

2nd - check the large bag the fun size candy comes in. it will have the bar code there.

Thanks for posting this.

As far as Halloween candy, I just stick with those mini Reeses Pieces! That way I can eat the leftovers.

It is helpful to have codes

and of course reading the label is a must.
However, I am pretty certain that not everything is listed on labels.
If an ingredient, imported and added to an ingredient for the final product made at home, it does not have to be itemised on a label.
If aspartame is added for instance, there is an exemption if the aspartame is less than a certain amount.

Your best bet is: leave processed foods alone, a good call for your own health at the best of times.

That is just in time!

I am printing it off and spreading it around today, just in time for Halloween.
I am thinking of including it with the treats I hand out too, for parents who care.

cw
