B.J. Lawson was at my church today!
I didn't realize he was there but apparently he was there with his wife because some of the students in our Jobs for Life program were graduating and they were kids that Lawson knew personally. When we had home fellowship tonight, our music pastor asked if we knew who B.J. Lawson was and passed around his card for us all to see because it had Lawson's face on it. Our pastor even had the pocket Constitution/Declaration of Independence with him. He said that Lawson told him that when a Christian wants to learn more about God and the Christian life, he studies the Bible. When an American wants to know what it means to be an American, he turns to the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. We were talking about praying for our leaders since all are under the Sovereign control of God, but I thought it was neat that Lawson had attended our church this morning with his wife.

He sounds like he will make an awesome congressman. We need to replace all the bad ones with good ones like him, one at a time. I pray for him, too.

I truly believe that leaders are put where they are to complete the ultimate final plans God has for the Earth, whether it be as it seems for bad or for good, in the end he will use the bad and the good to balance out and complete His plans. Good luck to B.J., I donated to his campaign a few times.

And tonight when we met for home fellowship, out of the blue our group leader asked if anyone knew who B.J. Lawson was? I said "Yes, I do!" LOL, it was funny. I was wondering why he had the pocket Constitution/Declaration sitting on his piano. It was an unexpected surprise! I would have liked to meet Mr. Lawson had I known he was there, though.

I personally don't do religion, I do God. I'm recovering ex-Jehovah's Witness. Don't give me shit about that either. It's very hard to break away from that type of thing, constant mental intercourse.

Most churches don't really seem to follow the God they claim which is why I drive extra far to go to this one. Good teaching straight from God's Word and very loving people who want to honor the Lord. I was glad to find out that Lawson was a believer, too.
