I had a dream
ha ha ha...don't worry everyone had their clothes on.
I had a dream that a sweeping phenomenon took place after 2008
Local, county and state elections had record turnouts year after year. But in 2012 and 2016, people purposefully abstained from voting for national offices.
The end result was the federal government had very little conferred legitimacy.
It'll never happen, but I thought it would be far more effective. States would have more power.
It's a similar idea as to Ventura's "no confidence" option.
Why Bring Race into It?
An afro-marxist? Why not just say marxist? The racial refference isn't necessary. Judge people by the content of their charater.
Other than that, good post, I'll be glad when the garbage both campaigns are spewing is no longer flooding the airwaves.

A thief took my TV 14 years ago. I never replaced it.
5 Years
I haven't watched broadcast television (Pravda) in over 5 years. We have a netflix account (mainly for the kids), and sometimes I shop the bargain bins for old movies.
I will not buy a converter box, and am actually looking forward to February, when my TV will finally be liberated from the control grid.

I have great concerns over the Oddenga campaign's antics and Obama's involvement. McCain, well it appears that most of his corruptness has occurred in country and he is not that intelligent. Personally, I advocate that everyone vote as they wish. Particularly, 3rd party.

We already know that Obomba supports his Lord Bush ("Patriot" Act, Def. Authorization Act of 2007, FISA Amendments Act, $700 Billion+ for occupation of Iraq, against Iraq withdrawal, etc.). This all applies to McCane as well.
And then we know that Obomba defended his Lord Bush, saying that Bush was not guilty of "grave, grave breaches" and "intentional breaches of the president's authority".
