Chuck Baldwin is Valid Write-In in NY

For those of you interested in voting for a write-in candidate,
in NY, the candidate must submit the necessary paperwork for any votes for him to be counted. I confirmed with the NYS Board of Elections yesterday that (national) Constitution Party candidate, Chuck Baldwin, is indeed a valid write-in candidate for president in NY.

In NY, there is a write-in slot at the top of the ballot machine,
which you use a pencil or pen (usually hanging on a string) to write
in your choice.

Be warned that once you open the slot, you are prevented from changing your mind and voting for one of the candidates listed on the ballot below. (Otherwise you could have two votes which would be invalid). So, be sure you intend to write-in before opening the slot...
