He said only things that made sense, and in the end the two commentators kind of laughed him off. Bizarre. I wonder how viewers with no stake in Ron Paul reacted to that?

God, I love Peter
but he should not say that the Fed is a government entity...And when I hear the commentary of these wildly overpaid (forgive me) schmucks, my "evil twin" springs to life and hopes that this country and its idiot voters land hard, really hard, when the "hard stop" that's headed this way happens...That's not very nice, is it?
Here's what I wrote them. Hope I was pretty accurate.

I love Squawk On The Street and tune into CNBC exclusively for your show.
I am writing to say that I hope you have Peter Schiff on again soon.
Based on listening to all three of you extensively, I think you agree far more with him than you think.
In consideration of inviting Peter back… against what could be considered slightly less than fair remarks by you both… please consider the following…
1. Ratings… if his “controversial” remarks get the spikes other networks say they get with Ron Paul, you’ll see that in your ratings and want more. I, for one, am a huge fan of his and wholeheartedly ask you to consider bringing him on as a regular guest. Based on my summary of YOUR extremely well-informed views, I think you might warm up to him.
2. As merely a point of fact, Ron Paul received over 1,000,000 votes in the primaries (breaking all kinds of fundraising records along the way with no corporate contributions whatsoever) versus just over 9,000,000 primary votes for John McCain. That’s not 1% Mark. ;-) --- I’ve read he got about 6% of all votes, much more in some states like 30% in Pennsylvania, and regardless far more than Rudy, Fred, even Biden, etc. Incidentally, I think you’d agree with Dr. Paul’s views on sound monetary policy more than you may think as well. Please have him on too.
3. The Founding Fathers loathed, yes loathed, the idea of a democracy calling the idea of majority rule simply mob rule. Our country is a republic, as we are reminded in the Pledge of Allegiance, majority rule via democratic elections (not the same) with minority rights guaranteed and protected above all.
4. “Gold is money, nothing else.” – JP Morgan The fiat monetary system is a huge growing issue among many of us. The idea of a Bretton Woods II should warm you both to talking more about how not backing our currency with an asset, like gold, has allowed reckless deficit spending and debt, the conditions causing a “need” for bailouts, etc..
5. Please consider discussing the Comex’s massive short position in gold and silver and the question of being able to deliver that gold and silver if called.
I hope you appreciate viewer e-mail. Again, I am a huge fan of you both… REALLY!!!! And Peter Schiff. It was odd to see my favorites bumping heads like that.

I disagree with you but I love talking with you, or, provocative if nothing else. As if Peter is just a fun little kooky clown to have on the show to get the latest fringe opinion. Then you had the bubble head saying gold has no intrinsic value, when it is the definition of intrinsic value. I would love to see these interviews with the dumb dumbs cut out.

I am trying to find their e-mail addresses. No luck on www.cnbc.com yet. Any help? These two are actually two of the better ones... normally. I say that because my recollection is that they both leaned hard against the bailout. Let's use this opportunity to "help" them out. We can. Use Ben Franklin's philosophy when you e-mail guys... "diplomacy is making your point without making an enemy." Many of us once were like these two. Who can help find their e-mail addresses please?

Squawk On The Street is the name of their show and it's normally not the best of them in my opinion. Again, let's educate fellas. Be cool. We want Peter on CNBC more, not less. Peter's even remarked about how they cut him back and he's on Fox more these days. This appearance was a good start and we want more of that. Think of that when you write.

I do not believe I heard her suggest an AUTOCRACY...Anyway ,Gold only has value in the sense of, it being exchanged for something of need ...Right NOW exchange is done with paper notes or electronicly ..There is no need for gold at this time except as a limit on spending ....There is only, SO MUCH GOLD, period ....This is it's real value to a people whose GOV't runs wild on expenditures....LIMITS
