Get Ron Paul in Playboy

Lets get Ron Paul in Playboy's January's Interview. We must hurry. With a very good 3 million plus circulation, I think its time Playboy interviews the good Doctor don't you?

Please help with an email request to Playboy. Ask them to interview "the most radical Politician to run for the White House in 100 years.---thats why supporters call it a Love Revolution."

As you may know, Playboy's readership is pro-civil rights and pro-free market. Even though Christie Hefner who runs the magazine is liberal, they recognize that their readership runs more libertarian than liberal or even conservative. Lets introduce a whole new audience to Dr. Ron Paul's pearls of wisdom.

Email Playboy here:
admin@playboy.com

Entitle it "Please Interview" or "Interview Request". Please include your full name and cell #, city & state --- thus showing you are a real person.

FYI Playboy has interviewed these two Presidential Candidates...

Latest issue... Gov. Bill Richardson in Playboy interview http://www.playboy.com/magazine/int...

Past issue...Fred Thompson in Playboy Interview

Subscribers to that magazine can only see for 1 hour a day...

...they are blind the other 23 hours. Plus, if they have to pay for stuff like that, they are probably too stupid to vote. Ron Paul, just because you would protect the right of the bong smoker to smoke his bong, doesn't mean you have to bong with him. DON'T LISTEN TO THIS THREAD STARTER.

rude and ignorant

thats really all i can say about your post. i mean to say that people to get playboy masturbate is just stating the obvious but really who does not. but to say that they are dumb because they get playboy...

anyone who subscribes to playboy at this point, with so much free porn online most likely does read it and many of the articles are quite intelligent and many are very political (granted i have not gotten playboy for many years so i am making the assumption that it is running similar artilces to when i did get it)

you are making assumptions on something you know nothing about which is what most people do with ron paul's policy's, such as not voting to give rosa parks a medal of honor

Puritan thought.

Ron Paul has to reach out to all audiences for votes. Personally I don't buy Playboy, but it appears that many do. I also don't buy Cosmopolitan magazine, but there are a lot of women that do, so perhaps he could give an interview in that magazine as well. Now if he could get a bit into Reader's Digest, then imagine all the people he would reach there. The point is that he has to get out his message, no matter where he has to go. As for Conservative Christain votes, I don't think that is the way most of us think. Christ himself preached to prostitutes and sinners, he didn't just go after pure thinking men and women.

I would prefer...

....his appearance on SNL. Those writers are libertarians you know? They could put him in a great skit I'm sure!

SNL would be the home-run.

I would love it if either he or (even better, perhaps) Mrs. Paul got to say "Live from New York, it's Saturday Night." But are you sure the writers are libertarians? If so, that's great! Before, I'd have said "I hope for one sympathetic voice if we're lucky," but I always suspected from afar that they were mostly-Democrats.

But the thing to keep in mind is he does well in ANY comedy show or context. I think it's because he's SO honest, but I'm a super-fan since '88.
JMR

I'm divided...

I'm not sure what to make of this. Ron Paul is a good Christian family man, but he's also a libertarian against censorship who insists it's not the government's responsibilty to enforce morality on it's citizens, it's just to keep order.

As a woman who doesn't appreciate the "objectification" of women (I HATE hearing cat calls and lewd remarks as I walk down the street, and thank GOD they're fewer and far between as I get older and fatter) I'd prefer he not do an interview with Playboy. Also, I don't think Ron Paul is doing as well with women as men (I've read 81% of his donations have come from men) and I'm not sure a Playboy interview is the right way to go to attract more female supporters.

Then again, there's the Ron Paul girl and a group of supporters called "Strippers for Ron Paul," plus the media attention. I think it's come to the point where any media exposure, positive or negative, still benefits him more than no exposure at all.

Sorry, I can't make up my mind. That's terribly female of me, isn't it?

I have to agree with the

I have to agree with the above. We need more women supporters, not less. As a man, I guess I'm a pig by default, so if the situation were reversed I would have no problem doing whatever it took to get more men to support Paul. Arrange strip shows for VIP donors; put his face on Hooters t-shirts just below the cleavage; whatever! But the situation being what it is, we definitely don't want to offend the ladies.

"We should have a strong president -- strong enough to resist the temptation of taking power that a president shouldn’t have." --Ron Paul

What harm would an invitation from Playboy do?

If Ron Paul wants to interview for Playboy he will, if he doesnt he wont.
I doubt Mrs. Paul would care one way or the other... reading Playboy is after all a civil liberty, freedom of press, etc. etc... I emailed them and see no harm - all exposure (sorry for the pun) is welcome!

I understand how you feel (I hope)

And while I'm "for" all interviews with almost-no hypothetical exceptions, I understand the undecided. But thanks for posting, because now I can ask this question: What single publication or media outlet in general do you think would be the best Ron Paul interview to reach out to the women who haven't yet heard anything positive about him yet? Or maybe 2 categories of interview -- what women-centric TV/radio show and what women-centric magazine would be best? And ideally these outlets would target women who vote AND give-money!

Many of us men, as you pointed-out, are very visual and shallow creatures. Actually, that's to our advantage when it comes to girls like Liv or our growing stripper fan-base (hint to guys: Those notaxontips messages might sell very well if you happen to like that kind of entertainment!). I imagine Liv has brought us many, many guys -- which could also explain that lopsided donation-ratio. I loved when she shotgunned that beer!!
JMR

And...

I love Liv, she's so cute. It's O.K. with me if SHE wants to objectify herself a little, because she does it tastefully for the most part, and it's not like she gets naked, and hey, I'm not a total prude. I also loved it when Liv shotgunned that beer. I'm a beer drinker myself: probably at least half of my daily calories come from beer. See what I mean when I say I'm not typical? I hope that doesn't mean I only support Ron Paul because I'm not typical. Please, my more typical sisters, please believe me when I say supporting Ron Paul is in ALL of our best interests! Now if I could get my husband to support Ron Paul instead of Hillary Clinton. Damned role reversal...

And thanks everyone, for putting up with my catharsis...

I'm not typical...

I hope you understand almost my whole life I've gotten feedback that I'm not a typical woman, but I guess I am closer to being a woman than a man is! That said, I liked both the ideas of getting Ron Paul on the Ellen DeGeneres show and The View. I'll let you know if I come up with any other ideas. For the record, percentage wise Dennis Kucinich has more female supporters than any other candidate, but I doubt following Kucinich's example would do anything to help Ron Paul!

I'm sure Mrs. Paul would object...

...but Mr. Paul probably wouldn't consider it anyway. It's not his style.

No Way This Happens.

Ron Paul is not going to help Playboy sell magazines.

He told Adam what's his name that he was getting off course for asking about toilet paper.

You're beating a dead horse. No way Ron Paul would agree to a Playboy or Hustler interview.

?

WHAT THE HELL KIND OF POST IS THIS. Ron is running for President. He's a married Christian and a man with Integrity. This is down right ridiculous. PLAYBOY. This is going too far. There has to be a way to filter some of these post. Or remove them. You list Bill R. and Fred T. as being interviewed. This so how desparate they are for exposure and shows everyone that they do not have a chance in Hell in winning.

Playboy also interviewed

Jimmy Carter when he ran for president the first time

The Playboy 30th Anniversary Issue

The January '84 issue has commentary from Ron Reagan Jr. and Barry Goldwater Jr.

I will transcribe them tomorrow.

Not sure it's really a wise move though.

o gosh

do u have any idea how the media would twist this? They a;ready think RP supporters are crazy

RE: Playboy interview

Ron Paul is a Christian for crying out loud, I doubt very much if his convictions would allow that... Lets drop this less it becomes an embarrassment when he has to decline

hjschaapman

The Winds of Change!

It's up to him, of course...

But I'm "for" a Playboy interview along with any other "controversial" interview we can get, if only to contrast Alex Jones and other controversial media interviewers he's already done. Any politician who's also a gynecologist probably has a pretty good sense of humor about this stuff, already, or he wouldn't have gotten this far. This is one of those interviews that might either be great or awful, but I'd bet on "great."

I don't think a Playboy interview would lose many, or any, social conservatives unless Dr. Paul said something bad, and I don't think he would say anything different from what he's saying right now. Plus, this would be part of my infamous "secret" outreach to hot chicks program. Women read Playboy, too!!
JMR

Nothing like respectable

Let's aim for the big ones. Parade and AARP.

Playboy Interview Ron Paul

Forget it. Ron Paul wouldn't grant it. How many Social Conservatives do you want to lose?

archtoplee

sent this.....

What is better for Playboy then a man who believes in hard money?

The good doctor would be a great article for your magazine.

In addition, sales would skyrocket. He has 65,000 MeetUp members and millions of supporters.

His latest proof of people power was 38,000 donors to his campaign on November 5th getting him 4.3 million dollars in one day.

Do us a favor, and yourself a favor and interview Ron Paul. It will set publishing records for you.

Thanks for your time.

We should target publications and popular doctors

that share his view of leading a healthy life. I've seen Dr. OZ advocate eating only natural foods..not in a radical way...but you should know that your body knows what to do with real butter in moderation and it rejects fake butter as a foreign substance. I know Oprah is up Obama's ass, but we need to target that female audience with "RP is a doctor who cares for the health of you and your family"....same goes for retirees.

Well then,

State what publications and give their email addresses... Thanks.

Invest in Liberty, one Apartment deal at a time with me. Get a check each month as a passive investor, just ask me how.

That's my problem....

I never watch\read the chit so I don't know...

I'm Not Sure

While Ron Paul may be attractive to older women, he is far from Playboy-worthy. :P

Now for a serious point, this could be a good idea, given the our main demographic is young people.
