The price Republicans will pay for dumping Ron Paul
Since I'm guessing Barack Obama is going to clean up today, I'm wondering if the Republicans will regret marginalizing and ridiculing Ron Paul throughout the primary process. As some of you may remember, for Ron Paul supporters, Obama was their number two choice.
Mostly, that's because the Ron Paul R3vo7ution was driven by young people who like Obama's "opposition" to war (note the scare quotes -- Obama wants to move into Afghanistan with more vim and vigour), as well as the energy and aesthetic of Obama's campaign. Many Ron Paul supporters will end up casting their ballot for Obama and the Democrats, while most of them will pull the lever, or mark an "x" next to either Libertarian Bob Barr or the Constitution Party's Chuck Baldwin (Ron Paul endorsed Baldwin for president). In many, many states, the Ron Paul vote will probably be the difference maker.

Don't worry about the GOP
they'll go up in flames this year, and probably the next term. But then the scales will tip back to the GOP side again. It's part of the game. They didn't really expect to win, after the Bush messes, so they'll bide their time with Congressional payoffs, and special interest earmarks, and more fat cat livelyhoods. They accomplished their big mission, and that was to squash any silly notion that Ron Paul would gain any traction. That would be disastrous for the Dems and GOP alike. The GOP was Ron Paul's worst friend in the world. I wish he could have found a way to leave them and forge a brave new third part with some real substance. I do believe this was the year to really make some noise.

We should all make videos about this.
Everyone who can should make a video blog about this topic.

Rebuilding the Republican Party
After the collective hind quarters are handed to the GOP we will be in a position to rebuild it in its original image. We need to collectively breathe new life into it and now is the time.
We can offer the hope of taking control of our states and in this political atmosphere the states really must take on more autonomy in order to preserve their very sovereignty. Alas! The very union is in jeopardy of being swallowed by the NAU through the SPP treaties and the UN. If our states do not exert their due influence now, it will surely perish.
Since the federal government has failed miserably in its monetary policies the states really should take up the task. Rejection of federal subsidies to our states is a start, but further reforms will be necessary. Although the constitution forbids any state from coining their own money, they CAN sponsor banks and could also issue certificates for gold and silver holdings that they DO have. The key to maintaining our sovereignty lies in wresting the monetary monopoly from the banksters (FRB in particular) and restoring it to the People.
We should lobby all of our governors to bring the National Guard troops home NOW! They belong in our states protecting OUR borders. Our states can leverage some control over foreign policy even if it is only in this limited fashion.
The bottom line is this: The GOP will be smarting from the bashing they receive this election day, and will feel it especially hard at the local level . We can be there to offer the hope and policies that can change the power structure for the better. Decentralization is the antidote to the NWO plan that is set in motion and what better vehicle for that platform than the grass roots re-birth of the Republican Party.

No "election" is out of reach with black box balloting and vote "counting" systems running proprietary software that cannot be audited by the public.

I wish they would blame us because that means that we are significant and have influence. They can blame me all day but I take no responsibility so they are wasting their time!

Create an new Republican Party from the ashes...
...and in the spirit of the Constitution, Free Market, and philosophies studied and practiced by Ron Paul.
You are correct and so was I!....
The GOP did not listen and hence I think they are going to get creamed! The Republican Establishment needs to understand(for once),that they lost because of NOT being in favor of limited government,a less war-like foreign policy and restrained spending....

You should have titled this post
The price AMERICA will pay for dumping Ron Paul.
I firmly believe that he was our last chance to get it right.
I saw a converted 4 X 8 RP sign that had McCain Palin, painted on the upper portion. It made me ill.

Yes, there was a house in my town
that had a RP sign up for a long, long time. My husband drove by the other day and said they now have up McStain/Palin, Granger, and Cornyn signs. I just don't get it. How can anyone support these people after knowing RP.
last chance for America
I have this notion, but it will go nowhere because I am not Illuminati - lol! Globalization has been sold to the sheeple, they have bought the package, we are going global. The bankers are riding this pony all the way to the finish line. It is not the smooth transition they hoped for, but they still are headed for a socialized, global government with one currency. If we could get the word out in time, and beat them to the final punch, we could still pull this out. GO along with the globalization, we cannot stop it. Go along with the socialist agenda, the sheeple are convinced they are going to get something for nothing with this plan and only cold, hard reality will snap them out of it. But the global CURRENCY is where we could all say "No thanks" and immediately cut the bankers out of the loop. Global, coordinated boycott of currency.
Yeah, enjoy the New World Order...
Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.
Ron will be a convenient scapegoat
But the RNC will not regret disparaging Dr. Paul, he isn't one of them.
He's one of US.
I hope they do blame Ron Paul.
This movement has come a long way but we're still entirely too "chummy" with the GOP, in my opinion.
If you don't know which voter block they were trying to suck in with Sarah Palin, by the way, you need to go check the nearest mirror.

they will regret it, but they will lie to themselves and blame
us for losing. But that´s just normal psychology.
Really, you have a candidate who supports the most unpopular president in the history of mankind on 90 % of the issues and still hope he will win. LOL

Just remember
the Republicans kept deluding themselves by reminding themselves that Congress had a lower rating than Bush (it did).
...For one reason only:
...For one reason only: Because of angry Democrats who were disgusted with Pelosi and Company for her shameless support of Bush's war, police state, and her refusal to consider Impeachment.
I'll say it openly: PELOSI WAS BRIBED.
