Dr. Paul is setting his sights on the 2010 mid-term election cycle right now and the Republican Party better do the same!
I took up teeth grinding
in the last 6 months, I may need a break.
Everyone around me said I am spending way too much time at this and I agree. How does one stay balanced and still accomplish anything? I am quite passionate and I cannot seem to turn it off.
My thought on what to do now
Now that this election has brought so many people into the fold, it's time to start challenging them on their policies. This country was just taken over by a slogan.
During the up-coming tough times, it's imperative that we spread the message of liberty and freedom, because now that people woke up (kinda, enough to vote at least) now we can begin to challenge them to THINK about what and who they voted for.
This situation is ripe with opportunity.

For an informed citizenry, individuals must discard the television set in favor of the acquisition of information via either books and/or the internet. An uneducated populous will remain in ignorance and thus continue to suffer the sharp ax of tyranny.

There are going to be a lot of people getting on the Campaign for Liberty's bandwagon once they see what Obama has in store for this country.
I will fight on, now is when we will start making some real progress.

I agree. this new administration and the economic collapse will test the fabric of our society. Lock and load. tell your neighbors.
First, we must evaluate what we have done over the last year
and a half. Take all of the positives and apply them to the new strategies. Take the negatives and DON'T REPEAT THEM. As for a new 3rd party, uniting the Constitution or Libertarian parties can achieve noteworthy results in the near term (2-4 yrs) that are all but impossible for a new party to achieve and without the dilution factor an extra party brings to the voter mix. Establish within the next three months a dynamic, experienced ticket/team who are well versed on the Constitution. They need to work at becoming high profile figures who promote C/L party unification and are seen as problem solvers like Dr. Paul. Psychologically, a significant name change is imperative to the new united party (First Party, Freedom First Party) and therefore, we must intensely reject any and all notions that this is another 3rd party. Rebutted often enough we will start to believe it and others will follow. Concurrently, on another front, in this war, we must work for accountability of all elected officials at the federal, state, and local levels. Here, a two pronged attack is called for. On one side, we need to align with as many pro-constitution lawyers/DA's as possible and proceed with grand jury investigations/indictments, making an example of one legislator/executive/judge who ignores the rule of law. We aren't talking a great deal of victories here; just one or two will get everyone's attention that we mean business and are relentless in our pursuit. Many will start toeing the line, breaking their ties with special interests. On the second front, we can initiate recall elections on those officials who are violating their oath of office. Again, only one or two successes here will make our voices heard loud and clear.

Hopefully barry won't do that much damage and either way he's going to let them down cause no one can fufill the hype he's created.I don't happen to like Dick Morris that much but morris believes the democrats will do nothing for the next two years and then get thrown out of office. While this is bad for the country I believe it will help conservatism make a comeback. If Mccain would have been elected the most it would have accomplished would have been to delay the demoncats take over which would have been good. I'll take Hildabeast any day over Barry. The Republican Party has just had a 8.0 quake if not worse. It is time to be kind, pitch in, and gently show them the way back to the path of liberty. Our kind Dr. Paul has already shown us the way. Now the opportunity will come, and we must take up his banner all over the country.
Look, if they had treated RP better......
They might have gotten RP's 7% of the national vote. What would that have done for them? (Win) They screwed themselves. BUT, I truly believe Obama is the worst of the two evils. When the same party controls EVERYTHING ... presidency, house, senate .... look out.

With Democrats in control, it is only a matter of time before they go too far. The mid-term elections should then play out similar to how they did in 1994. Hopefully by then, the Republican party will have purged itself of Bush-style neo-conservatism and be brought back around to a more constitutional perspective.

How can we get Obama, and his advisors, to read "A Foreign Policy of Peace"? He can't cut taxes without some spending cuts. Dr.Paul has it all laid out for him. If the Dems control Congress he won't need to worry about Rep.reaction.

His whole issue is making things better for the poor and oppressed via socialism, and the race issue ....... so he has been willing to compromise other things to the CFRs of the world. They will be getting what they want ... they don't care so much about small social issues (at least to them, small). Listen, how else could he have raised 700 million for his campaign. Think about it ... that's $.7 Billion. We're screwed.
