Why McCain lost

0 votes

Some will say it's because of the economy, some will say it's because of Bush and still others will say Americans wanted "change".

I believe the fault lies squarely with the Republican Party leadership. The only person that could of beat Obama head-up was Ron Paul. He probably could of beat Obama on the bailout vote alone, but more importanly Dr Paul had a real platform and he would of called Obama out on the fact that he isn't going to really bring the troops home.

The Republican Party hacks shoved a liberal who had one foot in the grave and one foot on a banana peel down evrybody's throat. Joe the plumber crap was the best they could come up with. How sad.

We need to take this party over.........

Wrong... look closely at

Wrong... look closely at what McCain did not do! he was a set up man.. this electionn was decided by the CFR and there ilk years ago! THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE between Democrat or RTepublican! all McCain had to do to win this election was to distance himself from bush by VOTING AGAINST THE BANKER BAILOUT! if he would have done that 1 thing he would have won! ITS JUST LIKE FAKE PROFESSIONAL WRESTING! THE WINNER WAS DETERMINED LONG BEFORE THE ELECTION!

He was supposed to lose

That is why he lost.

It's a script.

Why? You think Diebold counted your vote?

Unify

Yes! You got it!

He was following the script..making it appear there was a choice. He was playing his part. RP just said that on Alex Jones ( he said also that the first year will be the most dangerous for losing more Liberties. )

Alex Jones just said

(per Ron Paul) that they had Obama run against a corpse...McCain was never intended to win (hindsight being 20/20). I just liked the corpse reference...made me smile.

a comment from an outsider

It occurs to me that McCain lost and Obama won because TPTB wanted to give the American people a party.. a really good feeling.. to distract them from thinking about the important issues like the FED and the police state. Everything is okay now. Everyone can go back to watching the mindless drivel of the celebrity news.

Cynical I know but it has been proven that elections can be fixed. Had TPTB wanted McCain to win, he would have won.

I was disturbed by the display of emotion. People actually "believe in" this man, whatever that means. Scary.

There is only one Lord and he is my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I did not hear either of these Christian men mention him at all.

This Generation

Will you be part of this generation, purchased by Ron Paul?

This speech was delivered after the Washington State GOP convention:

The Republican Party leadership. ..

got what it deserved.
I just hope come 2012 they remember what a huge mistake it was to shove
McCain down everybody's throat.

The DP is proof that the grassroots support for Ron Paul and his peaceful message of individual liberty is large, real, and not going away!

Re-thinking

what the OP posted yesterday about the Rothchild meeting - looks like perhaps he was told he would be the Republican nominee with the purposeful intent to lose to Obama - the president of the world.

Other Than McCain Is McLame

And, Bush has lost almost complete credibility toward "anyone" except his few high-life supporters.

The population has been programed for years by the media (t.v.) including rap 'n hip hop to deaden the minds. The population has lost "their standard" with sex, drugs 'n rock 'n roll, materialism, parties 'er hip 'n cool mentality. Our souls have been lost cause of the desire to save the world which has resulted in this 'lose' of Our soul(s), which, the mind is of the highest order. Gone, poof.... Scattered To The Wind.

The mind is the battlefield!

Mclame

lost because he's a Democratic wearing a Republican label.

Prepare & Share the Message of Freedom through Positive-Peaceful-Activism.

Totally agree

McCain was a liberal just like Obama. Nominating him just turned this into a personality contest. And I gotta say Obama has the better personality.

Republicans are not reproducing fast enough.

Rebublicans are not reproducing as fast as the democrats. So all you republicans hook up with some independents and get busy cranking out some kids!

LOL I sense a new meetup!

McCain Lost because

There was no possible way that slimy reptilian could have ever related to more than 50 % of Americans.
he RNC picked the worst possible candidate that they had
even Romney and the huckster would have finished better

Why McCain Lost?

Because the numbers were not fixed in his favor.

Bottom line ...

We get what we deserve ...

We need to work to make sure we deserve a constitutional republic in the future.

Set some goals and achieve those goals.

WAHOR!!

If you have the money, I'll support a GOP takeover.

You will need $150 million, minimum, just for the run to the White House. We had $20 million this year, and it didn't even make a dent.

SUPPORT OUR FOUNDERS' AMERICA
Support the Constitution of the United States

SUPPORT OUR FOUNDERS' AMERICA
Support the Constitution of the United States

Piece of cake

One million patriots kick in $150 each.

There are one million of us, right?

Yeah, you're right

They accomplished one important mission, and that was to brush away any silly notion that Ron Paul would get close to the White House. I think they were prepared to lose this year, but when the Democrats served up Barak Hussein Obama as their nominee, I thought, hold the horses! He can be beat........but in the bull rush to silence Ron Paul, they pushed their old tired warlord McCain onto stage, where his enthusiasm and message only made people yawn. Say hello to President Obama.

alan laney

He was destined to lose.

McInsane lost because that is what the RNC wanted and knew would happen. Seriously...Sarah Palin?? Are you kiddin' me!? I'm sure she will be great on Fox News as her new career, but #2 in the executive branch - no way. Did you notice Mitt Romney dropped out about two months earlier than he should have? It was so obvious that the Dems would win - they didn't want to waste "good" candidates on this election.

I agree they kicked out the only true conservative - but they don't want to be conservative anymore. They want populist, collectivist rulers, just like the Dems.

As far as taking over the party - I'm still struggling with that one. From what I saw at McCain rallies and my local and state conventions - I don't think there is a chance in Hell. But, it still makes sense to at least try to make a dent in the few reasonable people still part of the party. But, I am now thoroughly convinced that the Republocrats are just two wings of "THE PARTY". I think I will now call it the Polit Bureau II.

"We are the inheritors of the American Enlightenment, which tells us that Individual Liberty always trumps collectivism in all forms."

You are correct

in much of what you say. But alot of it had to do(I think) with the fact that he ran a dirty campaign, his policies sucked, his warmongering, his out of touch ignorance, his arrogant look down his nose attitude, "Again, It's not what the American people want I'm going to do what I think is best" That statement really Bushed me out. (that was not a misprint) and his total lack of understanding of the economy. I could keep it coming . To sum it all up he is an ignorant pompass ass.
I suggest we stay on Obama and constantly hound him on the Constitution and let him hear from us till he ca'nt ignore us. He said he wanted to hear from us and needed us to help him with the trials ahead so let's let him hear from us loud, clear and relentlessly. All we can do is work with what we have until we change it. Everyone else will go back to sleep so we should be the loudest voices. When people realize that he ca'nt be the miracle they think he can they may join us in "helping" him.
Or just join us in our "Campaign for Liberty"

The squeaky wheel

gets the grease. I like your idea of hounding them until we get some validation and positive action.

While it is highly unlikely Obama will make it to the Oval Office he will find there is NO MONEY to implement all the communistic plans he has for Amerika. The game will have shifted so much by January the terrain will be unrecognizable.

unrecognizable ,and then some!

I suspect the GOP got a through butt-kicking because they essentially tossed the true conservative base out of the party. Anyone hear the final percentages in the Senate? The thought of two thirds Dems. really scares me.

McCain and the GOP lost

because they are psychopaths and anyone not a total moron can see that. Who in their right mind would willingly vote for (support):

torture
false imprisonment
attacking countries that have not attacked us
destroy the laws of your own country
steal from those that support you
fortify America's enemies
endless war and expense
more taxes

to name a few insanities promoted by the GOP.

Obama doesn't really stand

Obama doesn't really stand for anything different..he just put over 600 million behind his message. Who in the world didn't hear him speak at least once? No one.

If we're to be heard we havta buy our own 24 hour news stations..several newspapers, magazines or be ready to pay for air time and other forms of advertisement...THAT:S what it takes..we had NONE.

You Are Wrong Mustang

Sorry to say this but you are incorrect in saying that everyone has heard Obamination at least once.
Not I
I burried my tv about 18 years ago and thank the Lord I did so.

Not only have I not heard him give a speech, but I will not ever listen to any that he may give in the days ahead.
I have much better things to do with my time than to listen to some damned liar in this dispicable government that has come upon us.

" In Thee O Lord do I put my trust " ~ Psalm 31:1~

" In Thee O Lord do I put my trust " ~ Psalm 31:1~

Exactly

Obama hasn't come out against any of these things and has affirmatively supported some of them. The difference is that McCain tried to sell himself with fear, hatred, and intolerance - the same emotions Bush has been using to manipulate the public. And people are weary of it. Although Obama doesn't have a different policy when you get down to it, he didn't push it with fear, hatred, and intolerance. Obama created the illusion that, even though he endorses the same empire and police state that McCain does, he offers relief from fear, hatred and intolerance. Bullshit, of course. But it fed the needs of the public.

That is why he won.

At least he is willing to talk to Iran

and others. I do like that much more than the bomb first ask questions later attitude. We can only hope. Maybe our president can reach him. RP
