The Uncle Tom thing is overly politically correct BS, but then he goes on to say we should have a "living wage" to be respectful to the poor and "full medicare for all"? Nader is insane. He has no understanding of why we are in such a mess today. He is for all practical purposes the anti-Ron Paul.

Yes and no. Really, the

Really, the debate between Socialism and Capitalism is an interesting one and worthy of attention, but at this stage there are more fundamental issues to attend to: Who does our government represent? Will we uphold and defend the Constitution? Will we stop spending money that we simply do not have? Will we retain the sovereignty of our nation? Will we continue to protect the rights of American citizens?
I disagree adamantly with Nader for his socialistic ideas, but he is still a patriot trying to uphold and strengthen the people of the United States and defend the Constitution. What he was saying is true; he is trying to hold Obama accountable for the promises that he has made to his liberal base. If he means what he says about caring for the poor and wanting the government to help them, then he needs to follow through on his promises. That is what Nader is saying, and it is only right. After all, at least then the poor in America would be fed and housed. Unfortunately, Obama is likely to sell out to the international bankers and mega-corporations, so even the poor will suffer under his presidency.
Socialism and capitalism can be debated among true patriots committed to representing the American people and protecting the Constitution, but first we need to have a government run by patriots.

Nader is no dummy
Though I can't agree with much of his platform (a little too government hands on for my liking), I always learn something from him.
He's right when he said about politics; "This isn't show business, it's about reality."
His intentions are noble.
And as usual, FOX wasn't quite "fair and balanced."

My wife brought up a good point about this interview. If Ralph Nader has been "reduced to irrelevancy", why are they interviewing him on their show? Why should they care what Nader says?
The more I think about this interview, the more I realize that they are scared. They are scared of the movement that Ron Paul has kick-started that has joined forces across political isles. We will never know how many third party votes were "lost" in Diabold machines in this last election, but the powers that be realize that we are a threat to their existence. Take courage in the fact that despite appearances, they are not omnipotent.
I will continue to pray that God will shine the light of truth on our nation and that we all will return to loving truth, mercy, and justice.

Oh the fix was in alright, but it wasnt for McCain or Obama, it was to marginalize the impact of the non major party candidates. Whats a greater threat, having one of your puppets get into office or have the people see the movement rising and take hold of their minds? NO WAY Nader or Baldwin got as few votes as they show. They dont see themselves as the enemy(Reps and Dems), their enemy is the people that DONT WANT THEM ANYMORE.

I agree. The same thought occurred to me as well. I cannot believe that the third parties did anywhere near that badly, and the reiteration that Nader was made "irrelevant" simply proves the point. If he has truly been made irrelevant, then you don't need to point that out. It will simply be.
The third parties are far from irrelevant or they wouldn't be making the effort to subdue them.
I USED to watch Shepard
I USED to watch Shepard Smith's Fox Report evey night (there was no other news programme on at 7:00pm). He's super sharp and has got a highly animated speaking style all his own.
And that's why Fox keeps the slimy little reptile. He stutters, and skips over words, and mispronounces, and uses entirely competely wrong words, and on, and on, and on! He's friggin ridiculous! Fox even took him off the air for a whole month and sent him to speech therapy class.
I know this because he was making 12 mistakes a programme for a week, disappeared for a month, and came back talking like a normal human. He slowly drifted back to one mistake a show. But Fox loves him so much, they keep him even though he trips over words like a crackhead.
But this asinine condenscending tone he used in this interview is just plain awful. Its not how I remember him several years back. I guess being Murdoch's golden boy made him out to be a bigger slime than I gave him credit for.
I already related how he was arrested a few years back for hitting a pedestrian with his car in a parking lot, and then cursing the guy out, shouting "Do you know who the F I am, you F?! I'm important! My shoes are worth more than your life," etc.

When he did his, "Whats with that" line, the memory of HAL popped into my head. That malevolent, insidious under tone that you just know to recoil from.
That was strictly a hit piece but Nader handled himself... well the way Nader conducts himself, exceptionally.
