Must Listen: Ron Paul with Alex Jones 11/5/08

"Right. And if we have a bad nature, we have no self esteem. If we have no self esteem, any demagogue can have us. He can order us about because we wouldn't consider ourselves valuable enough to be free. You would be anxious to follow anyone because you don't trust yourself."

To expand on what I said below and others have responded to I put together these thoughts.

It is a law of nature that our thoughts and feelings are encouraged and strengthened as we give them utterance. While words express thoughts, it is also true that thoughts follow words.

Emotions are molecules.

From the book “Molecules of Emotion” by Candace Pert, Ph.D. we receive the following insight “Neuropeptides and their receptors join the brain, glands, and immune system in a network of communication between brain and body, probably representing the biochemical substrate of emotion” (Pert). Years of neuropeptides (which are considered molecules of emotion) working on the receptors of the cells in the brain, endocrine glands, and immune system can change their receptiveness. This altered receptivity can damage the cell thus injuring health. Resolving and understanding deep-seated long-held emotions such as anger, grief, insecurity, etc. can release them and bring healing to the receptors and thus, the cell. In order to resolve these emotions there needs to be spiritual and psychological health. So you understand that these two are very powerful and not to be taken for granted.

Because emotions are molecules they generate some type of energy. The energy can be negative or positive depending upon the emotion. Someone said that you can walk into a room with a negative, unhappy person and know right away their state of emotion. You feel it and the oppressiveness of it. You don’t even have to look at the person to feel it. It is the same way with positive emotions. I love to be around positive, happy people. It generates the same emotions in me.
Bring that to the difference between Ron Paul and Alex Jones. Individually, listening to Alex Jones makes me feel helpless and afraid and downright depressed. This practically immobilizes me. People don’t want to be around me because this is all I can think about. RP, on the other hand, is realistic and speaks the truth. But, he also generates positive energy through his positive thoughts and words. He motivates me to action because he gives me hope. The Rally of the Republic gave us that type of emotion.
So, individually, my emotions and feelings may not change the state of the world; but collectively I think it can make or break us. That’s why I believe negative emotions can immobilize and positive can energize.

What's this monetary meeting that RP mentioned? Anyone read / seen / heard anything about this, in addition to Dr. Paul's brief mention of it?

Has anyone heard if the Atlas Shrugged movie is still going ahead? If so and if it does the book any justice at all it would be an eye opener for those who are still blind to what's really going on.

Ron Paul people wouldn't normally do this BUT...

Here's a NEW ANGLE OF ATTACK we might consider;

There are numerous books and websites devoted to FREE GOVERNMENT MONEY, GIVEAWAYS and PROGRAMS (Such as author Matthew Lesko writes about).

Since American voters gave a ringing endorsement to Socialism on Nov 4th, and since they consider us a bunch of retards, I propose the following action for the RON PAUL REVOLUTION:

Everyone take as much free government money, freebies and low interest loans as Uncle Sam is offering. GET AS MUCH AS WE CAN in an attempt to BREAK THE IMMORAL SYSTEM which ALLOWS such programs to exist.

Then, CONTACT THE MEDIA; (Newspapers, TV, Radio talk shows, Internet, tell your friends etc) all about your free money.

This will ENRAGE THE PUBLIC about these excesses and it will cause more people to do the same until it becomes obvious how WRONG these TAXPAYER FUNDED programs are.

Or maybe we could tell the government that we want to return these freebies to the public treasury for TAX REFUNDS to we the people who were originally ripped off to pay for these things.

In any case, it WILL make a point about IMMORAL government giveaways.

Since I KNOW in our hearts we don't believe in this kind of thing, it falls under heading of "FIGHTING FIRE WITH FIRE."

With regard to the "think positive", don't be "negative" discussion here, I understand the impact of thought--the Law of Attraction, if you will--that like attracts like, so be careful what you think, etc, etc. My problem with that "law of attraction stuff" is a moral one, i.e., this government created a lie in order to justify its invasion of another country, Afghanistan, and subsequently caused the deaths of our soldiers and the murder of innocent people. So what do I do? Think positively about that and/or pray, but do and say nothing because that would be negative? Where's the balance? I have yet to see or hear in this "law of attraction stuff" any sensible or substantive means of dealing with reality of the fact I cited above and its inherent moral challenge. Any ideas, healthnut4freedom? Seriously.

With regard to Alex, I say "Go, Alex, go!" while you still can! And Ron Paul's comment, "...most Americans are oblivious to what's going on..." sadly sums it up.

People would rather hear happy, fun, cuddly, sugar-coated stories instead of the truth. "Noodle salad." Reality is no fun --- SUPERSIZE me! (gross)

(Pssst. People like Ron Paul & Alex Jones tell the disgusting, ugly, unhappy truth. Why do you think no one wants to listen? They want to close their eyes & believe in "Change." And do you really think DR. Ron Paul is so uninformed & unintelligent that he does not know whom to CHOOSE to talk to)???

Come on guys. People like Alex Jones is why Paul's message is being laughed at. He needs to distance himself from conspiracy theorists. No one can take him serious if he runs with this crew.
