Palin 2012 bumperstickers

Palin 2012 bumperstickers were the featured product in a GOP email I just got, along with "historic and collectible" 2008 McCain/Palin stickers. Both cost $10 a pack.

Are they freakin nuts?! I'd take those stickers for free and heat my home with em!!

"Cowards & idiots can come along for the ride but they gotta sit in the back seat!"

There are people making money off Sarah Palin.

I read that Larry Flint (Hustler magazine) has spent considerable money making some kind of X-rated flick called: Nailin Palin. It seems that there's profit opportunity in just about any situation.

Hanging Palin Out to Dry

http://www.youtube.com/wa...

I just ran across this YT vid. Looks like they are really going to try to hang Palin out to dry. I say the Ron Paul Republicans reel her in. Bring her home where she can be led in the proper direction. In raw material she has a lot of power to capture a nation's imagination and is a face the media will not ignore. I think if she carried the message of freedom, sound money, and a humble foreign policy she would have been unstoppable and a very powerful ally in the future. I blame McCain for losing and nobody else and though she didn't perform well, I don't agree that we should toss her out as well.

She does not follow any

She does not follow any Libertarian-leaning Republican ideas, therefore she's not worth pursuing as a future candidate.

Palin was a cheap gimmick and she is pretty stupid if she

Actually thought she would win.

Hopefully she will do less damage to the party being in Alaska where she can just say little things like how 'cool' Ron Paul is.

I agree 100%

I think Dr. Paul would be a wonderful mentor for her, she has youth in her favor and the sheeple LIKE her!

She would diff be an asset. The only problem I see would be with the foreign policy, but I think she could be taught the truth of it all.

Don't give up on her.

"just come home", sarah ~

~
you were on the gin-soaked road to oblivion with McCain....Doctor Paul can lead you to the path of righteousness.

Just Come Home. ;-)

Sarah, unfortunately just got caught in a powerful whirlwind. I'm tired of her being trashed. I feel she has a lot of raw material in her which can be transformed into a positive direction. She just needs to learn from the right man.

bumped for more diggs....

Ron Paul is the man!!!!

Question assumes there will be a Republican Party in the future!

I am not so sure.

Here's my opinion: I think Sarah Palin should go home and take care of her family ... that's the job God gave her to do. Her foray into politics is just her ambition getting in the way of her duty to her family. Hopefully her children won a mom when she lost the election.

Ron Paul is the only Republican I will be following into the future.

Bump for that

I liked Palin until I really thought about how difficult it would be to give the VP position the focus it would demand and still be the mother her young children (especially a special-needs infant) deserve. Throw in the distinct possibility that she would have to assume the presidency and I began to fear for her family.

I'm all for equal rights for women, but you really can't have your cake and eat it too. One or the other will suffer, and it wouldn't be the job...

I disagree

They don't seem to be suffering now....and she has held public off for more than several years.

From what I have seen and read, Todd Palin is MORE than willing to step into the caregiver position and seems to enjoy it.

I think they have it all worked out!

I think that a good dose of Dr. Paul and Sarah working together would energize the republicans. With that said, it would depend on how much the media is willing to eat crow with regards to Dr. Paul.

Can't help but laugh at them, the media, since the bailout, Dr. Paul is the "go to man".....

maybe they are learning....

Tolerance is the virtue of the man who no longer has anything to believe in....

My turn to disagree

Sarah's daughter did get pregnant out of wedlock. I understand it could happen in any family and the Palins appear to have handled it well. But, perhaps it wouldn't have happened at all if Sarah wasn't busy playing governor. One thing for sure wouldn't have happened ... the whole world would not have been made privy to the poor girl's situation. She would have had a lot more privacy.

And I'm sure Todd loves playing Mr. Mom ... in between managing his three businesses.

Give me a break! Get real!

Silly...

To think for one second that a working mom is the cause of a 16 year old daughters pregnancy is just simple thinking.

No matter what job Sarah Palin chose, she would have been away from the home. Period. Her daughter is the ONLY one responsible for her actions. Isn't that what Dr. Paul teaches? We have to be responsible for our own lifes, money and actions? Sarah Palin showed her love and genuine concern for her family by accepting the nomination in the face of an unwed pregnant daughter. Had she declined because of the "embarassment of it all" her daughter would have carried that guilt for the rest of her life, dealt with depression and God knows what else. Her daughter came first whether you realize it or not. Sarah showed her toughness and her great love by not being ashamed, and by not hiding her daughter from the world. The guilt that would have built up in her daughter, because she would have never forgiven herself, would have ruined her life.

It appears to me that Todd Palin loves his family unconditionally, which is a wonderful quality. I wouldn't walk up to him and sacrastically call him Mr. Mom, because he'd probably make me wish for my mommy.

PS. My mom, stay at home mom, Bible thumper that she is, had 3 daughters to get pregnant out of wedlock. Mom had nothing to do with that. Nor could she have changed it.

Parent's are responsible for their kids

Yes, we all are responsible for our own actions, but children are not responsible for their actions, at least not completely and not until they come to the age of maturity. To teach, guide and correct the children is what parents are for. Therefore, parents are responsible for their children's action. Moreover, children watch what their parents do, not necessarily what their parents confess to believe in. So most children will follow the way their parents live. Yes, children will make their own choice eventually, but for the most part, the parents are responsible to teach, correct and guide them to the right path.

All that said, I cannot say who is responsible for Mrs. Palin's daughter's pregnancy outside marriage. It is unfortunate and it is wrong. It should not have happened, but only God knows who's responsible. However, we can judge by the fruits and know that something is wrong. And for my wife and I, we know that our priorities. God first, family second. We know that it is the right thing and the good thing for my wife to be the caretaker of our home, not just our children, but our home, and I am to be the primary provider for our home. We each have our God given duties and we will follow that. And we will not put my career or my wife's career before our family. The Bible says if we cannot take care of our family, how we can take care of anything else? If we cannot take care of small things, how can we take care of the big things?

Mrs. Palin's choice indicates that her prioirty is not her family. That is a clear indication that she is not really a "pro family" conservative.

BTW...

Judging Mrs. Palin's actions and character will ultimately be up to God.

In my opinion, her actions indicate that she truly is a pro family conservative.

If she was all about work and herself, their probably wouldn't be 5 children in that household, whether Todd is the caregiver or Sarah is. They stick together and get it done. Their way. Don't judge them.

Tolerance is the virtue of the man who no longer has anything to believe in....

I will agree to a point...

Kids (children) in this day and age mature much faster than we'd like them too.
Childlike behavior, playing with toys and the like cease by the time they reach 11 to 12 years of age. They are in a hurry to grow up. By the time they reach middle school, their language, likes and dislikes, friends and associates change drastically. They listen to RAP, and hip hop, they watch R rated movies and will lie to their parents at every opportunity just so they can have fun, in their opinions. A parent is the LAST person that a teenager wants to listen to. They will spend as much time away from home as possible, they will invent and create reasons to be out of the house, they will lie about who they will be with, what they will be doing, and where they are going....

I said I would agree to a point, however, when a teenage child decides to "become" an adult by behaving as an adult, a parent can no more stop them than you can stop the tide.

A child ceases to be a child when they CHOSE to participate in mature sexual behavior. Period. They have passed the threshold into adulthood no matter what their physical age. The law may deem them "a child" until they reach the age of 18, but that's only if they aren't trying them as an adult in a criminal case. Even the law toys with the age of maturity, however it suits them.

Most families don't have the luxury of a "stay at home mom". Matter of fact, it is more rare than being of the norm. Everyone works, which translates into everyone helps with the home. God knows of our struggles, and knows that we each do what must be done to support our families.

If one spouse has the ability to earn more than the other, why not let them do what will ultimately be best for the family?

Parents guide, teach and love their children, but they can not control them past the age of "sexual maturity". Whether that child is mentality mature is another thing....more than likely, they aren't. It is better to realize this, and deal with it. You don't want to force your children to run from you because of a heavy hand. All of us go through the rebellion stage.

Why don't you ask Sarah if she could have stopped it?

Back in yesteryear, our ancestors where married and having their own children in their early teen years.... they survived. Today, teens do it in reverse, kids then marriage. Wrong? Yes, in my eyes it is. Does it mean the parent loves the child less? No. Does it mean that the parent didn't do everything in their power to guide and manage their child? No. It means that everyone has a free will, and parents can only pray for God to guide them when they are out on their own.

Neo-Cons dug her up to give

Neo-Cons dug her up to give their rotten movement a fresh face. I don't trust her! She got a taste of high-power politics and will no doubt serve her new masters well. Time to bury her under the Alaskan tundra and turn south to the Texas coastline for inspiration. Ron Paul may be 80 (soon) but he's got a movement of youngsters like me (35 soon) to keep the message alive. I'm heading to a Campaign 2010 meeting next Saturday as a bona fide Ron Paulian and I'll be interested to see what the district's other, humbled, Republicans will think of Sarah's trouncing.

regarding the mean reply to hannah2

The only way we are going to win this R3volution is to come together for a single cause! We all (for the most part) are fighting for the same thing. Let us not alienate one another for someones suggestion that is sincerely felt to contribute. But at the same time be on guard for those who may try to subvert our common goal of freedom. I agree Sarah P. is not part of us but one of them. But lets all work together for a common cause and not against each other for we will then fail.

hannah2 has been on this site for over a year and that earns my respect!

Dig Dig Dig the r3volution!

Thank you whalesurfer.

In my response to ron-paul-operative I believe I explained my reasons for posting.
For the very reasons posted in my initial post I would not recommend her as the leader of the GOP.

Yeah, of course!

This is really a no-brainer! Paul/Goldwater 2012!

Someone needs to put Ron Paul on a fitness plan.

He will need it, to run in this race at 80 yrs. Add some Steroids or HGH to the plan if you are serious about a run in 2012.
He'll probably run against more no-minded facemen and the TV will not be his friend.

lol

my thoughts exactly!

Put down the pipe dom.

Who is really thinking that Dr. Paul has a future in the Republican Party? Those who voted Republican and never gave Dr. Paul a chance are TOO STUPID TO BE COUNTED ON. Dr. Paul appeals to the intelligent patriot, not the bumbling idiots who really thought McInsane and Bimbo had a chance.
Abandon the Republican party for third party candidates, or continue to be a clueless tard. The Republican party needs to follow an evolutionary path and DIE.
WHY SUPPORT A PARTY WHO THOUGHT SARAH PALIN WAS ANYTHING BUT A LOSER AND IDIOT? McInsane was not the best candidate, but a 400 year old man who was too old to run in 2004.
THE REPUBLICAN PARTY MUST GO THE WAY OF THE DODO, AS THEY ARE TOO STUPID TO SURVIVE.
DIGG THIS? HELL NO, BURY IT LIKE A CORPSE!
