We did not do well in the general election (I have my theories why...) so the state level goons are already lining up to be sure they fill the next primary ballot with neocon choices.
I honestly don't know if it is worth wasting much effort fighting for political power - we need to get AHEAD of the curve rather than reacting to them all the time.
