would be a problem if he lied to the American people, not that we shouldn't be used to it by now. I personally have never mentioned my "muslim" faith...I mean Christian faith when speaking to someone, or especially a group of people. To think he would say that, and not even catch it himself is a little fishy to me..that's all I can say.

I don't think he is a Muslim, but it doesn't make any difference to me.

It shouldn't matter what religious beliefs he has as long as he religiously follows our Constitution... But unfortunately, he won't.

I couldn't agree more Lew. What we have now during a Presidential election is basically American Idol for a different target market. Multitudes of people in this country just don't understand that to endorse the centralization of power as is common today, they are just begging for serfdom. It is not the President that runs the economy. WE do through our interaction with others in the market place, hence the reason the greatest thing we could ever hope to achieve is to relegate the Presidency back to its initial state of power which was very, very limited.

He studied the koran in Indonesia and was registered in school as a Muslim. He's been quoted as saying that the Muslim call to prayer is the most beautiful thing in the world. And let's face it, once you're a Muslim, you're always a Muslim, if you want to live.

If he is a Muslim, we have a president who is hiding something from is. I care that his allegiance is not to the United States of America.

None of us in the private sector is even allowed to have the slightest idea. The authoritarian bunch is less transparent all the time. I'm afraid we can only brace for the inevitable. The sleaze on the Hill keeps just doing whatever it can get away with.

Here's the deal, folks: If we ever hope to get our republic out of the hands of self-absorbed rubicons, we should keep our focus on the prize. I see no promise in getting distracted by other things.

I wonder about the Muslim situation too (I only know his values are not ours). I'm a born-again Christian who by no means wants to see a child of Islam perpetrate the inner workings of our nation (orthodox Muslims are literally programmed to take over at the first opportunity—perhaps my being a Christian doesn't have as much to do with my concern as I thought). But, for one example, if the Federal Reserve is reigned in almost all our nation's whoas will be taken care of. It occurred in 1776 as well as on at least two other occasions throughout the United States' history.

Correcting what DC has botched will likely take lots and lots of time, to put it mildly. Many important [like this one] and unimportant sideline issues are bound to come up, but if we don't maintain a generous measure of focus and resolve toward our ultimate goal, we lose.
