GOP looking for new blood
http://www.rebuildtheparty.com/
There is a movment within the GOP which quotes the effective manner in which we mobilized this year. They sound alot like us, perhaps this is the break in the GOP we have been waiting for.
We had spoke about our message being the true, old school ideals of the Republican party (Taft, Goldwater, Reagan) and that the fastest way to make a impact is by being true to our principles so why don't we use this present weakness in the GOP to be the driving force to re-invent the GOP.
They want new blood, we are the main artery. How do we do it. The way that the majority of us were turned onto Dr. Paul's thinking.
Crush "Rebuild the party Coalition" and the internet with new and improved Ron Paul Videos with the flare being Dr. Paul's multiple's famous statements (from the GOP Primaries) about the way the GOP has lost it's way. There is some outstanding footage of Dr. Paul exposing the problems with the GOP on a national stage that have rung so true in recent times. These images with those creative editing and music will send a strong message that the Campaign for Liberty could be their strongest ally. Those images coupled with footage from our massive grassroot activities (thousands of Ron Paul supporters everywhere) will make them pay attention.
Read their statement on the above link, they are trying to do what we have accomplished, grassroot mania and our internet abilities is what they want. We have it, they want it, we want the platform or at least a strong Liberty Platform within the Republican Party. It will help us grow alot faster and will be an easier sell to get people on board if we are aligned with a NEW Republican Party that embraces our ideas.
Hopefully someone is paying attention and sitting down with this new movement within the GOP. They mention our movement many times and praise our efforts to mobilize and influence at the local level.
I believe there are thousands of Ron Paul supporters in those ranks but have not had the abilty to hear our message due to the media and the neo-con blinders they have worn.
This may be worth a look. If we find they are the existing GOP wearing sheepskin (only an image change by name), we move on and we have identified another possible enemy of our cause. If they are true to their word we will have made a giant leap step in our goals.
E Pluribus Unun

The Republicans will just use us.
The Republicans will just use us to acheive power, or divert us from harming the NWO. What you people who want to work with the Republicans don't realize is that they are controlled at the top by wealthy globilist elitists who will not give up power. People who believe like we do have been fighting for control of the Republican party since at least the 1950's and have lost. Why? Because the deck is stacked. They control the party, the money, the media. You think you will be able to infiltrate it. Ha. Again I laugh ha ha. Either we are doomed and had better just prepare to live under a dictator or we have to start a new party. See below.
Oh, I know what most of us Christians were thinking, voting for McCain. I would have done the same thing two years ago. But it has been eye opening for me to talk to large numbers of people of both major parties who say "I would love to vote that way but he will never win." If all the people who thought that way, would vote for the one they wanted, instead of the one the mainstream media selects for us, that person would win. The last 1.5 years has been profoundly, politically, life changing for me as I listened to Ron Paul. What a Godly Christian man and Patriot he is. The Republican Party is a dead whale carcass, that the Christian right has chained itself to. We do this because we think the party will help us on the abortion and and gay rights issues. The fallacies in my opinion are many.
1. If we keep supporting political groups that do not support the Constitution, we will soon not have the freedom to influence our government at all. We are already governed under a type of soft corporate fascism rather than as a Constitutional Republic.
2. The Republican Party is not really with us on those issues anyway. They come to us every 4 years and throw us just enough of a bone to get most of our votes and then go govern another way.
3. Abortion and gay rights should not be decided at the federal level unless we are going to amend the constitution. These are state issues. (I realize on homosexual marriage, that a constitutional amendment may be the way to go.)
4. The Republican party stands for decidedly unchristian positions that we are drug into supporting along with them. The human tendency is that if you are in a group you tend to be an apologist for that group. These include endless, undeclared war, nation building, big intrusive government, loss of personal freedom in order to "protect us", deficit spending, theft through inflation and the federal reserve, destruction of our currency, taking from the poor and giving to the rich (bailout), furtherance of the intrusive IRS tax system, loss of national sovereignty, loss of second amendment rights, porous borders, partial loss of Habeas Corpus and Posse Comitatus. Are these not Christian issues? Why are Christians supporting these things through our alliance with the Republican Party? Many Republicans would say they do not support these things, but I go by what people do, not by what they say.
Janet Parshal and James Dobson have become shills for the Republican Party, and are used by the powers that be to herd the sheep. We even had one Christian leader early on endorse Giuliani. Very strange. The Christian right has blinders on, and looks only at the abortion and homosexual marriage issues, if that. We need to start paying attention to preserving freedom, and our Constitutional form of government, before it is lost forever. Then we will have only the choice of one dictator.
What if James Dobson had come out early and supported Ron Paul. Or if he really likes killing people in Iraq, and occupation of conquered countries, like Christians seem to like nowdays, Duncan Hunter. Instead he ends up supporting a man who is by no means a Christian or conservative. What if Dobson had said "enough of the Republican Party". "Support a person who is truly with us, Chuck Baldwin." Yes, we would have divided the conservative vote and lost, but we did anyway. However, we would have birthed a new movement for freedom and righteousness that by next election would be very formidable. It is not to late to do that now! The Republican Party is a large rotting, corrupt, whale carcass laying in the hot sun. It is time for us to quit being the lap dogs of the Republican Party which we will never control, or change, and barely influence, since it is controlled by elitists/globalists who really have no use for us. They and the Democrats are both controlled by wealthy individuals and corporations that are most likely the forerunners of the Antichrist movement. They have betrayed us time after time. Do we really expect to make a difference there? I say, come out from among them. It is time for Christians to lead, not weakly follow. Tone the Constitution Party down so it is not a "Christian Party" and build a coalition of Christians, Freedom Movement folowers, Libertarians and the general population that would cannibalize both major parties and get our country back. Now is the time. Lets be Christian Patriots like our forefathers, and start a revolution.

You do make some strong points but the reality of third party is we need a large amount of cash and need to get very busy. Our movement needs a solid goal and direction.
Perhaps I am naive but Dr. Paul is not, he has suggested that we work within the GOP to the best of our abilities. Is that true? There must be some validity to that approach

I am torn also
But after coming up against the republican machine in the primaries I have no illusions about us easily gaining power. Hannity, Limbaugh, and Beck bend the minds of the neocons daily. We are faced with the choice of fighting the ballot access of a 3rd party or the hostile political hacks in the republican party.
Sometimes I think it is best to just give up an try to save my family from what is comming down the road. But I would always wonder, could we have stopped it and saved the Republic. The election was very discouraging. People who should know better at my workplace were watching the Obama press conference like he was the Messah. Unbelievable.
be very careful
In our state MANY people threw off the "sheepskin" at the state Convention and I thought we were on our way to being the first state to unify the party. As soon as we helped them get their man elected Chairman, THEY began sucking OUR people in. Our candidates STOPPED talking like Ron Paul and started running "non-controversial" campaigns (and lost almost every race.)
Those in power know how to use their bait. I am not frightened off by the establishment in the GOP, I am frightened off by what the RP people became the instant they got a taste of power. Compromise is GREAT when you are trying to decide where to take a vacation, or what dessert to split, but there really is NO place for it in principles.

My fear
is that without some dramatic game changer, without taking over a major party, our efforts may be marginized like all the other Third Parties of the past. Think of all those other Third Parties that could not rise above a few percentages points every election. We are bigger than that and can not fail. Taking over the GOP will jump start our movement light years ahead. Unless we have a huge cash reserve (50- 100 Million), I believe a new party will be a big challenge. There is only two ways, take over the GOP or raise 50-100 million, hire a coalition of lawyers and expert Public Relation people and start a new party ASAP. Just a thought but we need to decide on a path and be commited to the goal for 4 years.

Truly, too little too late
Please allow yourself another "wake up" level. In 4 years, we MAY have another dog and pony show, but there have been no real elections for a long, long time. We are new to this fight, this fight is not new. This is THEIR game, and if we keep showing up, they will keep handing us a stacked deck and saying "Sure, we will deal you in."
I believe it is FAR more likely that in 4 years we will be voting on a new global Constitution. Rather than stay on the battlefield where we LOST - face it - we COULD try to get ahead of the curve and begin a battle for global LIBERTY. If we show the world OUR "global Constitution" first we MIGHT have a prayer. But we could only do that with a massive internet campaign, and we do not have anyone leading that effort at all. We DO have a government shutting down the internet as fast as they can, so if we do not do something soon, we will lose this opportunity, too.

Good point
Don't blame the rest of the world. We did vote for Ron Paul!
Ron Paul was right
how about the RP delegates from NV that couldn't
even get through the GOP convention without caving.
That was
than, when they thought they were strong and had the abilty to win the White House. They were spanked on Nov. 4th and the weakness that exists now has not existed for many years. Big difference. Timing is everything.
