Message to the "Christian right"
Oh, I know what most of us Christians were thinking, voting for McCain. I would have done the same thing two years ago. But it has been eye opening for me to talk to large numbers of people of both major parties who say "I would love to vote that way but he will never win." If all the people who thought that way, would vote for the one they wanted, instead of the one the mainstream media selects for us, that person would win. The last 1.5 years has been profoundly, politically, life changing for me as I listened to Ron Paul. What a Godly Christian man and Patriot he is. The Republican Party is a dead whale carcass, that the Christian right has chained itself to. We do this because we think the party will help us on the abortion and and gay rights issues. The fallacies in my opinion are many.
1. If we keep supporting political groups that do not support the Constitution, we will soon not have the freedom to influence our government at all. We are already governed under a type of soft corporate fascism rather than as a Constitutional Republic.
2. The Republican Party is not really with us on those issues anyway. They come to us every 4 years and throw us just enough of a bone to get most of our votes and then go govern another way.
3. Abortion and gay rights should not be decided at the federal level unless we are going to amend the constitution. These are state issues. (I realize on homosexual marriage, that a constitutional amendment may be the way to go.)
4. The Republican party stands for decidedly unchristian positions that we are drug into supporting along with them. The human tendency is that if you are in a group you tend to be an apologist for that group. These include endless, undeclared war, nation building, big intrusive government, loss of personal freedom in order to "protect us", deficit spending, theft through inflation and the federal reserve, destruction of our currency, taking from the poor and giving to the rich (bailout), furtherance of the intrusive IRS tax system, loss of national sovereignty, loss of second amendment rights, porous borders, partial loss of Habeas Corpus and Posse Comitatus. Are these not Christian issues? Why are Christians supporting these things through our alliance with the Republican Party? Many Republicans would say they do not support these things, but I go by what people do, not by what they say.
Janet Parshal and James Dobson have become shills for the Republican Party, and are used by the powers that be to herd the sheep. We even had one Christian leader early on endorse Giuliani. Very strange. The Christian right has blinders on, and looks only at the abortion and homosexual marriage issues, if that. We need to start paying attention to preserving freedom, and our Constitutional form of government, before it is lost forever. Then we will have only the choice of one dictator.
What if James Dobson had come out early and supported Ron Paul. Or if he really likes killing people in Iraq, and occupation of conquered countries, like Christians seem to like nowdays, Duncan Hunter. Instead he ends up supporting a man who is by no means a Christian or conservative. What if Dobson had said "enough of the Republican Party". "Support a person who is truly with us, Chuck Baldwin." Yes, we would have divided the conservative vote and lost, but we did anyway. However, we would have birthed a new movement for freedom and righteousness that by next election would be very formidable. It is not to late to do that now! The Republican Party is a large rotting, corrupt, whale carcass laying in the hot sun. It is time for us to quit being the lap dogs of the Republican Party which we will never control, or change, and barely influence, since it is controlled by elitists/globalists who really have no use for us. They and the Democrats are both controlled by wealthy individuals and corporations that are most likely the forerunners of the Antichrist movement. They have betrayed us time after time. Do we really expect to make a difference there? I say, come out from among them. It is time for Christians to lead, not weakly follow. Tone the Constitution Party down so it is not a "Christian Party" and build a coalition of Christians, Freedom Movement folowers, Libertarians and the general population that would cannibalize both major parties and get our country back. Now is the time. Lets be Christian Patriots like our forefathers, and start a revolution.

The one Christian who had it Right
Got thrown in jail. Kent Hovind was right about all this stuff and was very popular among the christians. Becouse he started changing christian minds and attitudes on this subjuct the irs threw him in jail. I have the most of that story in the blog stand together or hang seperatly. Please read and respond
Here is the link to the Kent Hovind post:
http://www.dailypaul.com/node/72612#new Please read it for some good information and some other good links.
Yes, I know who Kent Hovind is and knew that he AND his wife were thrown in jail. I am sure his "crime" was that he wasn't properly subservient to the IRS, so trumped up charges were used to put him away.
I actually held out a little hope for Dobson
since he stated he voted for Howard Phillips in 1996, when Dole was the unacceptable GOP crapidate. (source: http://coloradoconfidential.com/showDiary.do;jsessionid=DBFA...)
But it seems throwing Palin into the race was enough to get the christian right excited, but no one else.

Conservatives Lost More Than An Election
http://www.chuckbaldwinlive.com/c2008/cbarchive_20081107.html
An excerpt:
In South Carolina, for example, pro-life Christians and conservatives had an opportunity to vote for a principled conservative-constitutionalist for the U.S. Senate. He is pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, and pro-traditional marriage. He believes in securing our borders against illegal immigration. He is against the bailout for the Wall Street banksters. His conservative credentials are unassailable. But the vast majority of Christian conservatives (including those at Bob Jones University) voted for his liberal opponent instead.
The man that the vast majority of Christian conservatives voted for in South Carolina is a Big-Government neocon. He supported the bailout of the Wall Street banksters. He is a rabid supporter of granting amnesty and a pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens. In fact, this man has a conservative rating of only 29% in the current Freedom Index of the New American Magazine.
Why did Christian conservatives support the liberal neocon and not the solid pro-life conservative? Because the conservative ran as a Democrat and the neocon is a Republican. I'm talking about the race between Bob Conley and Lindsey Graham, of course.
Had South Carolina's pastors, Christians, evangelicals, and pro-life conservatives voted for Bob Conley, he would be the new senator-elect from that state. In fact, Bob was so conservative that the Democratic leadership in South Carolina endorsed the Republican, Lindsey Graham! No matter. A majority of evangelical Christians in South Carolina stupidly rejected Bob Conley and voted for Graham.
"Depart from me I never knew you"!
That is about the only thing most so called "christians" will hear when they meet the Lord...
No wonder the bible says so few will enter the K.O.H.
A message to so called Christians....You do great evil and are evil.
Christianity is nothing even close to what Jesus taught.
Besides "Christ" means Anointed one...
Anointed With What?
The Crism...
What is the Crism...
9 pounds of Marijuana Oil infused in Olive Oil..
You mean to be a Christ means you used Marijuana? YEP..
What do you think the Baptism of Fire and the Holy Ghost is?
Inhaling the holy incence (also Marijuana with Frankencence and Mur) and then getting the Holy Spirit..
Getting Good and High...
The Holy Spirit Talks to Phrophets through getting High..
Prayer and Anointing with Marijuana cures the sick...
so the Holy Spirit ( manefiest through the holy oil and insence) and prayer heal the sick and cleanse one of sin..
""You have not brought me any cannbis but have wearried me with your sins and offences." Jerimiah 43..
To be healed of sin you need to get high...
Christians hate the Christ...the crism... To be anti-christ means to be against the crism or cannabis.....
Christians are the Anti-Christ...
Litterally.... This is exactly what the words mean and the epistology of the word. Anti Christ litterally means to be against Cannabis.
What do you have in Christ? In the Anointing? In Marijuana?
Forgiveness of sins, eternal life, healing, health, all our needs met....
food, fuel, medicine, shelter...
Read Romans 1 and with this understanding and see the transition about v 13 from the metaphore of the crism to Jesus. Greek is very specific.
(please if you can check it in the interlinear with strongs dictionary)..
Paul obvioulsly refers to the Crism through V13..
Note how he says...Being known from the things that are made.. they are without excuse..
Same argument the hippies have...
Stop trying to enforce your sharia laws
OR WE WILL DESTROY YOUR RELIGION.
It deserves it...It is Karma...
What you sow you shall reap...
YOUR WORST FEARS WILL MANIFEST.
YOUR CHILDREN SEE YOUR HYPOCRASY..
One Voice, One Vision, One Love ~ Liberty.
Good Thoughts, Good Words , Good Deeds.
That is the Ron Paul rEVOLution Creed.
One Louv. ;-)..
Everyone who claims to be a christian is NOT a Christian...
This must be understood. Let's not forget about the difference between the "Wheat" and the "Tares"

I am a Christian
and i have often wondered where the discenment has gone...strong dillusions..? i believe God is warning his people and Christians are not listening... I believe our Constitution was a God given set of rules...even if non Christians participated...I believe that our liberties are God given... God did not even want the people to be ruled by a king... but they demanded it. A person is free to do whatever he chooses as long as it doesn't affect anyone else...BUT the government has no constitutional right to dictate morals or anything else.We face judgement as an individual..no one else will pay the price for our doings...Christianity is in the laodicean of Revelations...neither hot nor cold and most just play the game without using their heart....what ever feels good...most of what i have learned have come from non believers...where is the bible believing Christian...? They should be leading the charge at the tyranny that is going on.Our Bible and Constitution should be our platform tread on it...WE BITE with love.As the song goes..."onward Christian soldiers".
Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master... George Washington

Christians, Republicans and Abortion
Here in the South, many Christians will only vote Republican for their stance on Abortion. During the Bush Administration (at certain times) there was a Republican Presidential Cabinet, a Republican Majority in Congress, a Republican Majority in the Senate and 7 of the 9 Supreme Court Justices were appointed by Republicans. So what was done about Abortion??? Nothing. This has gone on since Roe vs. Wade. As for the Democrats stance? Meet the new Boss (Obama), same as the old Boss (Bush)...I am so thankful to worship Jesus Christ! The only proper thing to do in this Presidential Election for me was to write in Ron Paul. That is wha I did...
the single issue Christian is not very bright
Even those with advanced college degrees. Gullible is more the word. The pro-lifers are lead around by their noses by a party that has no desire to change the status quo. The single issue voter is an instant, non-debatable vote and endless campaign contributions. You'll know the exceptional candidate who will do something progressive about this issue when they are rejected by their own party. In the meantime, the Christian Right represents narrow minded neocons.
I am a Christian and I am
I am a Christian and I am surrounded by Christians that hated McCain but lined up to vote for him anyway. You make some great points to share with them.
The christian I talked the most about Paul and Baldwin
voted for Obama! It is so discouraging. Peaple take their freedom so lightly and vote for the most foolish reasons.
the problem is is the vast
the problem is is the vast majority of Christians do not know who the CFR and other one world government organizations are and what they are doing.

I feel your pain
And understand your frustrations! I'm struggling with staying on w/the republicons, moving to another 'type' of party or simply drop out of all affiliation and spread the liberty message.
The christian right seems to be the easiest fooled portion of the gop. It makes me sick, I gave up on organized religion years ago.
Ya know those little signs we see everywhere that say....REPENT, we've been seeing them for years. I'm thinking we should all plaster this country with signs that say....END the FED... #1 cause of our economic problems & all types of info under the ETF banner.
If we wake enough people up and the ones who are awake start making their demands known... perhaps we can take back our country instead of some party duopoly. I dunno.... I'm frusterated myself!
If you are trying to target christians
If you are trying to target christians then you could put those biblical passages that address the issue underneath the "END the FED" line. The ultimate authority for christians is supposed to be the bible so if you confront them on how "An unjust balance is an abomination unto the Lord" then they are more likely to listen. You can then explain how the Fed falls in this category. I heard Lew Rockwell use this in a speech once. Modern translations might be easier to understand.
Leviticus 19:35,36
-Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.
-Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.
Deuteronomy 25:13-16
- Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small.
- Thou shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a great and a small.
- But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
- For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the LORD thy God.
Proverbs 11:1
- A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.
Proverbs 16:11
- A just weight and balance are the LORD's: all the weights of the bag are his work.
Proverbs 20:10
- Divers weights, and divers measures, both of them are alike abomination to the LORD.
Proverbs 20:23
- Divers weights are an abomination unto the LORD; and a false balance is not good.

I Did
vote for Chuck and glad I did. I don't know his final vote count but the last I saw it was about 1/4 million votes perhaps. But there have been numerous complaints that his write in votes were not counted even in states that he had filed for write in status.I saw 4 votes for write in candidates at my precinct. But they never said who those votes were for,it just said write in candidates. They should be forced to disclose the exact person who the vote went to.
Exactly!
Baldwin had ballot status in my state. I know at least 4 people voted for him in my town; I *counted* my mom and dad's ballots on Tuesday night (recognized their handwriting), but the town hasn't released how many votes he actually got.
They reported X # for Obama, Y # for McCain, and said that there were also votes for Barr, Nader, and Baldwin, but not how many.
Since when did all the church going Christian decide its ok
DJ Silvio sez: When did the all these so called "Christians" get together & decide its ok to literally exploit their bogus claims of spirituality and teach & practice HATRED & intolerance?
...and the lot of you probably often wonder why Church attendance is down & the so called financial institution better known as marriage fails more often than not here in the USA.
What Would Jesus Do?
He'd be ashamed & embarrassed for you & your families.
Its back to the constitutional ideals of life , liberty & the pursuit of happiness.
Its not that complicated, people.
