Stupid in America ?
Yup ... there's a lot of it goin' around !
yay, i have a new job
in a call center... woohoo, more than minimum wage... oh a 32 mile drive one way. But that isn't my point here...lol
This clip doesn't even touch the tip of the ice berg. I sit outside at lunch in the smoking area and watch people that work there. 90% aren't smart enough to pour piss out of a boot with the instructions on the heel.
I really wonder why we are trying so hard to save these people when they seem to have an IQ in the lower double digits.
Sorry, I am a little bummed and it seems like we as a movement have no real direction right now. We know we want liberty and we know we want our constitution and our rights back, but we seem to be a damn damn small minority in this country. No one else even seems to notice the losses the people in this country have suffered.
Driving to work, I see so many huge and expensive vehicles. Is the recession only hitting us?
OK sorry, just had to vent a little.
ahh yes,,,,
managed and implemented a few call centers in the past decade....never thought I'd end up in a cubicle but damned if I didn't. Depending on what kind of account your on, or if your outsourced customer service, there are definitely some "short bus" riders in there. Most accounts get paid for "butts in seats"...leading to...
You'll never hear it before you reach management, but there is a saying when we started hiring....if they can breathe and have a heartbeat, they can answer a phone. That's also why it sucks to call customer service when you get purely ignorant people on the phone.
But look at it this way. At call centers, you show up on time all the time, pay attention and do your job...you'll be off the phones in no time, and after that call centers are great! It's the whole phone issue at call centers that sucks...LOL
Forgot to include a link in my post
Check it out. It relates to why the population is so dumb and what we need to do about it.

"Rubber Rooms" for Teachers
In 2006, John Stossel reported that NYC spends $20 million a year to put incompetent, dangerous, perverted, racist teachers, whom they cannot fire by union contract, in "rubber rooms" away from children in the schools.
The public school system has become a subsidized monopoly that eliminates freedom of choice in how we educate our children. The end result is that children's learning gets worse the longer they stay in the public schools. And, this is true no matter how much public money is thrown their way.
They could at least
give them work to do away from the children.
Work away from children?
It would no doubt be prohibited by the union contract as irrelevant to their job description.
Obamania Brought to You By...

Mark Sanford for POTUS in 2012?
After watching this video, what do you think about the possibility of Mark Sanford for President in 2012 and his wife for First Mom. They would certainly beat the heck out of what America just got in 2008.
Sanford often voted with Ron Paul against popularly supported bills in Congress and has been described as a conservative (92 rating from American Conservative Union) and having libertarian views.
His name came up
for Dr. Paul, but then it came up for McCain and there was some kind of reason for that. I came to the conclusion, for a reason I don't remember now, that he is a neocon, a person who really sounds good, but in the end does the wrong thing. Perhaps it was who he endorsed.
Maybe this relates to your point
Watch the video. Not exactly a sterling performance by Sanford.
