The Virus Myth
If this is true, it confirms suspicions I've held for years.
Pesticide manufacturers, pharmaceutical giants, the U.S. government, industry scientists, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), State and County government agencies believe in their own fairy tales. But they find those children's stories too boring and too happy. They wanted something dark and sinister. So they rewrote the fairytale and thought of some scary name that evokes fear of the unknown: "West Nile Virus". Then, rather than good people who give children presents and good feelings, this West Nile Virus is a mean and ugly monster. It kills people, it's contagious, and they want you to think that you should be very afraid of it. They want you to be so afraid of it that you will vote for your local governmental agency to go ahead and spray chemicals on you (and some mosquitoes) to stop it. But you know what? Just like the Easter Bunny and all the others, it just doesn't exist. Let me explain.

Yep, I'm still in a state of
Yep, I'm still in a state of shock over this also. Lots of research to do before I can jump onboard this.
But I have been vocally opposed to mosquito spraying for a long time. Spraying just doesn't make sense b/c it kills off the insects that eat mosquitoes also. So when the next generation hatches in 2-3 weeks, they really get out of control.
This happened recently in my area after hurricane Ike. Neighbors were complaining about lots of mosquitoes (the extra rain and flood waters got the eggs hatching) and called for the city to spray. I got in many arguements with neighbors. I just basically said I would rather deal with a few mosquito bites than inhale carcinogens and have my kid's asthma flare up again. They shouted me down (online HOA Yahoo group) and expressed their irrational fear of West Nile Virus, and assuring everyone that they only spray at night. Then the truck came through a few days later, 2pm on Saturday, spewing toxins into the air. I ran outside to try and catch it and cause a big commotion, but was too slow out the door. I kept everyone inside the rest of that day and all night, but the asthma flared up for several days after that for my kid. I did a lot of extra watering in my organic garden that week to hopefully flush the toxins away.
I'm going to arm myself with knowledge and evidence to fight this in my city. I'm sick and tired of all this "common good" bullshit that's just killing us and priming us to demand and consume more chemical "remedies". It's as if the Federal Reserve is running everything! Create a problem, and sell a solution!

Question is why do people get certain symptoms attributed to viruses? What are they are in fact getting if not a virus?
