Obama Birth Certificate... I may have found something...

Okay, I've been researching this for the past several hours, trying to seperate the wheat from the chaff (there are plenty of dead-ends to follow), and I just came across this. Someone has posted a blank Hawaii Certification of Live Birth on their site. It is exactly the same kind of form Obama's campaign has posted, but without any fields filled in:

Now, here is the certification provided on Obama's own "Fight the Smears" website:

Here's where it gets very interesting. On the certification provided by the Obama campaign, if you look closely you can see that a date was stamped on the back of the form (slightly right of the center and near the bottom of the form) and that it bled through. The date is "JUN - 6 2007", which is not a surprise, as factcheck.org has posted images it says are the back of the form showing this datestamp:

With this in mind, take another look at the blank form at the first link. What's this? It has the exact same backwards datestamp in the -exact- same location (right down to the pixel) as Obama's form. There are only two possible explanations I can think of:

1) The blank form actually started out as Obama's form, but was photoshopped to remove all of the text and to restore the green background texture wherever text was removed.

2) Obama's form started out as the blank image, and the text was photoshopped in, making it a digital forgery.

I can't think of a reason someone would go to all the trouble of the first scenario. It's a lot more work to remove text and restore the complex background texture than it is to add text to an otherwise blank form, and there would really be no point to the effort.

No one else has brought this up anywhere else on the net as far as I can tell after extensive searches. Anyone have any thoughts?
