1st Amendment
Joe Scarborough was just exercising his first amendment right. No big deal. I say fuck all the time. We Americans have stooped to another low. What was pathetic was the other air bags reaction that were accompanying him. They acted like they had never heard the word fuck before. They acted like children after another child does something rebellious. Mrs. Brezinski was disgusting. She actually asked Joe to apologize for his freudian slip. If Americans cannot stomach the F bomb then how are we as a nation going to ever stomach true freedom? I'm not saying we should all cuss like sailors in front of children or on television 24 hours a day. I'm saying this is not a big deal and I try not to let "human" behaviour offend me. When Janet Jackson's boob popped out I was like who cares lets move on. But no the adolescent American media and public was obsessed with it for months and again the unconstitutional FCC stepped in and made "rule changes". If we cannot tolerate cussing once in awhile then we cannot tolerate freedom.
What's more important is that the FCC is unconstitutional and I'm sure there just itching to fine MSNBC.

Complain to the FCC? Give me a break. Hold these people accountable?? Again, give me a break. The FCC is used for political purposes, that is why they go after Howard Stern. The Republicans go after Stern to throw a bone to the religious nutcases who have made it a mission to get him off the air. Stern told millions of his listeners to call and write the FCC about Oprah and her sex talks, and nothing was done. No warning or fine to Oprah. The FCC will not go after Oprah or Joe Scarborough because it doesn't suit their political purposes.

It should be used more often. Big deal. In the UK there is no language censorship (that I'm aware of). Not even nudity is banned from public television there (after 9pm). I don't get why Americans are so fussy about such simple things.

Different denominations have different rules. Catholics can only have sex if their intention is to have a baby. Some Protestants believe the same.

Strict religious Christians want the female body covered also. They wear dresses that cover their figure(no hips,breasts,legs), wear no makeup, and do not style their hair. The point is to control their female sexuality. Strict fundamentalist muslims have taken it another step further and make their women wear a burqa, that covers every part of their body, when in public and in view of other men other then their husbands.
