An idea forum
There are so many here that are so intelligent, passionate and energetic. I am hoping that we can get some ideas to point us in a direction that will cause some changes.
We need to work together to decide what fronts we unite and work to change.
We have so many things that need to be changed.
The way the elections are handled
The fed reserve
The debates
The lack of ballot access (and debates) for 3rd parties
The illegal wars (occupations)
Police brutality
Gun control
The total disregard of laws and the constitution in Washington.
My point is where do we start and how do we have success?
I hope a lot of you can offer suggestions as to how we need to continue this great movement.
I really do believe that we are a stong enough group that we can begin a true revolution!

I think we need a wiki to
I think we need a wiki to develop plans (political, etc) on. (threads here eventually become forgotten, and a topic + random comments isn't exactly the easiest way to create document clear plans)
A forum like this, and maybe even a chat room (IRC or web-based) for discussing without poluting the wiki.
A way to organize geographically, maybe according to political geographic areas (Campaign for Liberty actually does this).
An educational section on a website (Campaign for Liberty also has a section like this, but it would be nice to have one in a wiki-like setup as well, so new things can be added by the community).
I've actually built a website (using Drupal, like dailypaul uses) that so far has something like a wiki, a built-in web based chat room, user blogs, google adsense sharing (you get a percentage of the ad views on your blog posts and forum threads if you enter your adsense number into your account), a forum, invite system, buddylist, etc, but it's hosted on my own computer at home, and even though I have cable internet, it will still be really slow for everyone that access the site (despite cable's fast download speed, the upload speed is way slower). So I'm hesitant to give out the address for it (might completely bog down my internet connection). I just put it together a couple days ago. It still needs a bit of work, and a decent theme, but it's otherwise functional.
A calendar where events like
A calendar where events like End the Fed can be posted, would be good, too.
First a short list:
Prove teamlaw.org worthy or unworthy of your support.
Prove taxretirement.com worthy or unworthy of your support.
Support new cottage industries like thermate centered arms.
Love (consciousness) is in everything including the void.
"Be wary of those who know the truth. Align yourself with those who are questing for the truth." L. Gardner
ONE thing you could do would be to join C4L.
Their mission is to be involved in real changes in many areas. Give them a look and you might find that you can be part of the Campaign for Liberty, which will offer lots of guidance on ways to make change happen.

Attend the End the Fed rally
Attend the End the Fed rally if there's a location nearby and pass out copies of AFTF or the latest issue of Republic Magazine. If you're busy or not the rally type then send one to your House Rep. Find out if they'r paid for or just ignorant.
I think it's more than possible to raise awareness AND prepare contingency plans. The things we've been preaching about to those around us for so long are on their way. The establishment knows the importance of getting their message out first in order to be effective... If we keep planting seeds I think many will remember or awaken as they see the events taking place. One thing we know is that they need as many people as possible to accept their nwo solution when the crises hit. The control they have over our fellow citizens is their main power. Every person we awaken adds to us and subtracts from them. Imo, that is their ticking clock (if it's not something astronomical or climate-related).

"I killed the Bank."
oldhickory is right.
We have to get rid of what is corrupting our government. The fed ! If you have'nt figured out that you ca'nt accomplish anything by writing to congress or running for office ect.. you are still asleep. The fed owns this country and soon the world (if not already) Do you think Obama, Bush, any of them can even be elected if the fed does'nt want them to be? Do you think they can go again'st the fed if they do'nt have" We the People" backing them up in the fight? We have to end the fed. Obama just needs to decide if he's with us or again'st us. Yes we need to communicate with him but not to ask him if he will but to tell him he must. He works for us or he is outta there. We have the paperwork to prove it. We have to educate people at this point. But we need to get a move on and stay on it and stop piddling around with things that ca'nt be fixed until this is fixed.
I think it will take more
I think it will take more than rallies. We need some decisive plans to attack issues seriously. We can't attempt to change everything at once. we need priorities and plans of action.

I have LOTS of positive ideas ...
that I'm willing to share, because I believe ideas are a blessing and not the property of any one individual. However, I don't believe anything will change unless something unpleasant happens to the "men behind the curtain." I wish Jesse Ventura had his "seven Navy SEALs," though I figure it would take at least two teams with carte blanche and no concern for "collateral damage".
In any event, the following are NOT my ideas, but they would make our society a much better place.

My own concept is privately financed healthcare reform that would easily save hundreds of BILLIONS of dollars a year in the US alone, while delivering superior healthcare.

I think the
two things we should work on is the election process. Get tamper proof voting machines and getting the Constitution party in every state. I think we should try and take over the Constitution party. The Constitution is what we are all about. Chuck Baldwin was a Ron Paul supporter so they should be open to having us join. Put the Ron Paul platform in place I could really go for that. If we had a slew of Constitution Party Candidates and really get on it now we could be ready for 2010 elections. I think the libertarians have been infiltrated they did not seem to even like Dr. Paul when he was running so I don't think they would even consider a Ron Paul platform.
Prepare & Share the Message of Freedom through Positive-Peaceful-Activism.
We need to petition all House & Senate members
On a federal & State level. (like my capitalization?)
To bring up legislation that requires that all new legislation and all that come up for renewal, must cite the specific passage of the Constitution that authorizes that legislation. If the new legislation can't prove to be legitimate according to the Constitution of the State/US, then It cannot go to a vote. We would have to figure in something to avoid the general welfare argument that would be sure to be used as a blanket excuse.
I know that this has been brought up before and buried in committees, that is why there has to be a massive effort to petition and call all Reps. to bring this up.
Thank you Dr. Paul for making me act on what I already knew was right.
*May the only ones to touch your junk, be the ones you want to touch your junk.*
Petitions don't work.
Petitions don't work. Calling your elected employees doesn't work. They ignore our requests and demands. We are the lowly serfs that need to work and serve, not the people of power. We have to form some type of action that works.
Not a petition in a paper sense
i mean contacting them in writting, on the phone, in person, and in mass.
Not a paper petition, I was using the word petition in place of contact, sorry for the confusion. It hasn't worked in the past much you are correct, the bailout is proof of that, any ideas on how to accomplish it?
Thank you Dr. Paul for making me act on what I already knew was right.

I think recalls may be the answer as far as a state level. Can anyone direct me in what steps need to be taken for a legal state recall?
It varies by State

dangerous thoughts...
...remember those two kooks who sniped civilians at large for no reason? remember how those inside the communities were put on notice?
ventura has jokingly mentioned that he could put the nation at a stand still with 7 well trained Navy Seals. I believe him, because I am a veteran SF Officer.
If a revolution does come to violence, it may just take a coup to capture our government again. hell, under W.'s administration, more generals and colonels retired, quit, or were forced-resigned than under any other administration.
Imagine if Emanuel, Cheney, Rove, Wolfowitz, Kristol, Paulson met some demise?
They do it. Ask Eliot Spitzer, or those less fortunate that have met a questionable outcome.
We are indeed facing tumultuous times. The more I see about what is going on, the less I am confident that we can take back our country peacefully. It will indeed be from the ground up.
Sigh.
Dangerous indeed, but WE
Dangerous indeed, but WE weren't the ones who F'd everything up. At one time, America showed the world what incredible progress could be made when people are basically left alone to pursue happiness from the standpoint of "rational self interest". The people will ALWAYS flourish when they have freedom and some simple laws to protect individual rights..... the problem is that there are greedy megalomaniacs out there who don't want us to prosper and be happy.... they want it ALL, which means that freedom and free market capitalism must be destroyed. They have gotten away with it for a long time because the people have been reasonably fat and happy and haven't even realized what they've been missing. I think that the time will come, and things will get bad enough that the Cheneys, Roves, and Paulsons won't be getting confronted by "We are Change".... they'll be getting confronted with a noose.

Truth is treason in an empire of lies.
Not to be negative, but
Not to be negative, but after this year's election debacle, I have come to believe that we will not be able to change anything from the top down.... we will have to work from the bottom up. The degree of control weilded by the NWO/globalist establishment is staggering...... they have the media, the money, the military, and most importantly, they pretty much have control of the minds of the American sheeple (and judging from the way the WORLD has reacted to the "messiah's" "election", the problem is international.....most people are followers and are misinformed, ignorant, closed minded, and of course some are just dumber than a bag of hammers).
While I DO believe that it's still possible to start from the ground up and eventually change things by getting people into local government, I seriously doubt that we're going to have time for that approach. This NWO thing is coming down on us like a runaway train.... "they" have
been planning this for 100 years (or possibly much longer) and I think that the whole thing has almost reached a 'critical mass', so to speak. I personally believe that they are on a specific timetable and have a deadline approaching (I won't go into my reasons here), but it should be sufficient to say that they mean it when they say ""We shall have World Government, whether or not you like it. The only question is whether World Government will be achieved by conquest or consent."
(as stated by James Paul Warburg appearing before the Senate on 7th February 1950) Kinda makes you wonder who the "We" is, that will have world government whether we (the people) like it or not. If it's NOT the bastards we see running this circus right now, then I don't know who else it could be.
I think at this point we should continue to do what we can to get good people into local, state, and even federal government, but I'm also a realist...... it's probably going to come down to a Revolution that involves violence. Having said that, I think that we should be organizing, getting prepared, trading contact info, and coming up with various contingency plans for action which would be appriopriate for the various scenarios which could be coming. We need to be asking, "what if they ______", and what will we do (as a group) if _______ happens.
The political process SHOULD work, but as we can see, it doesn't. That's why the Founders wrote the Constitution the way they did. They knew that sometimes things go off the rails the only way to change a corrupt regime is to give the PEOPLE the power to (literally) throw the bums out. I sometimes wonder if THEY already knew about the long term plans of the NWO..... the Constitution seems to be written SPECIFICALLY as a defense against what we see today, but irregardless we've probably waited too long already, but I have hope that there are enough of us out here to make a difference. A small, organized, determined group can accomplish incredible things.
It's probably going to take food shortages and riots to wake up most Americans, and we need to be ready to give them somewhere to go and to direct their anger and frustration when they wake up.
Just my 2 cents, though.

Truth is treason in an empire of lies.
And I do respect your opinion, but..
..You actually conceded your own argument to be unworkable, in midstride.
You're right, we SHOULD try to work from the grassroots up. But you go on to state:
While I DO believe that it's still possible to start from the ground up and eventually change things by getting people into local government, I seriously doubt that we're going to have time for that approach.
I concur. It would take twenty years or more to infiltrate the Republican Party successfully from within at the local level, enough to win over the majority of Congress. That's why it should not be our primary strategy.
We have to work from the top down and capture the Executive Branch if we want to win.
SUPPORT OUR FOUNDERS' AMERICA
Support the Constitution of the United States
SUPPORT OUR FOUNDERS' AMERICA
Support the Constitution of the United States
The respect is mutual,
The respect is mutual, Kevin. The reason I 'conceded my own arguement' is that while I don't think the political approach will have time to succeed, it's still worth pursuing just in case things don't go as bad as we all know they probably will. We should always be trying to put good people in office, regardless of what could, may, or will probably happen. I just think it's good to cover all possibilites, you know?
As far as capturing the Executive Branch, I would love nothing more, but at this point, it's just not feasable. We live in a world where an incredible man like Ron Paul is labeled "fringe" and a kook, and most Americans are too lazy and comatose to think for themselves. They just swallow whatever swill FOX and CNN are shoving down their throats. The NWO owns the media. They have too much at stake to allow a fair election or election process to take place and we now know they WON'T allow that to happen. Hell, even if Ron Paul had actually been given a fair shake and had been elected, they'd kill him within a week. We have to face the reality... we're not in Kansas anymore.

My biggest question, I guess is how do we do these things?
It's a long process
The next step in this process is to get enough like minded people to run for federal office in 2010.
People who love freedom and hate taxes could form the biggest voting block this country has ever known.

The race for 2010 is now.
Care to tell us where to begin with spreading the word on how to create that voting block.
I'm actually listening to you on this one.

Do your part locally
It's hard, because there isn't a one size fits all answer to that question.
Begin with your congressional district. Take an honest assessment of your congressman (house) and see if he's worth unseating. Mine is Geoff Davis, and I think my efforts would be better served leaving him in his seat.
If you think unseating your congressman will help us, begin doing it now.
First, identify a new horse to run against him. I think you live in BG KY, so Rand Paul might be an incredible option (if he's interested). Write him, or whomever you think might want the job (maybe check out a LP candidate in 08) and get his buy in to run for the GOP nomination.
Step two is harder...you do your part to build support for this candidate. Write the CFL and get them to endorse him...raise money for him...stump for him. Make one congressional race YOUR personal battle for liberty. If you can do enough to unseat one neocon/communist and put a liberty minded person in his seat...you have done your part for the revolution.
i know the process seems big and you seem small in comparision...but you have to have faith that efforts like yours will be duplicated across the country.
Just a note of advice...for this voting block to be a success...we have to be inclusive and stick to VERY easy things to convince people of. I know you're headstrong about 9/11 truth...but put that on the backburner when gathering support for the good of the movement. By all means, do what you feel is necessary to move your cause forward...but don't tie this issue to Rand Paul or whomever you choose.
One thing unites us...we all hate paying our taxes, and we all want smaller government. Start with that.
What do you think about the war on drugs?
How about Operation Wall Street?
