Advice from Ya'll on Job Situation

Can anybody offer any advice on what jobs would be good for the coming depression? I have a LPN liscense (though I despise the medical field) I have a commercial truck drivers liscense and I am a sonwriter/musician. I am single and live very frugally. I saw a job offer today in a town nearby that was for a home security firm. I think I would like that. Any ideas on what will be good for the next five to ten years? Thanks.
