When it is clear that these men broke no law and after the defence rest they will probably change the law and tell the jurors that they have to put these men in prison based on a five second old law the judge came up with. The police should be on trial not the protesters. This country is so backwards.

If the government and the police had behaved like this is in the sixties, black people would still be forced to use separate bathrooms, made to stand on busses and not allowed to drink from "white" water fountains, enter a restaurant through the front door or send their children to white schools.

What has happened to our right to free and lawful protest in the last forty years? Whatever happened, we had better figure out how to undo it and soon. Peaceful civil disobedience is the only really solid, effective, tool the citizens have against and increasingly oppressive government short of internal war.

BTW, I understand that Nick Morgan (I hope I recall his name correctly--the young gentleman that was trampled by the horse) has to have a metal plate installed (near his eye socket) to hold his eyeball up...what has happened to him just isn't right...he served his Country, he was doing NOTHING wrong, was damaging no property or anything like that...he was only practicing his First Amendment rights...
(not that any of them should have gotten arrested, imo---none were doing anything wrong...)
