ACTION! CNN's Glen Beck ATTACKS Ron's Donors: Take the Poll, Please.

0 votes

Beck actually said that the US military may have to be used against the growing threat of domestic terrorism: Ron Paul donors. Why? Because there is a “rising tide of disenfranchisement” (sic) and Ron’s volunteers raised $4.3 million in one day “to commemorate Guy Fawkes” in a “money bomb.” Of course, no American knows anything about the English Catholic rebel of four centuries ago. The donors were referencing the movie and graphic novel, V for Vendetta.

Beck then asks his viewers to vote on whether he is right about the “danger” represented by the Ron Paul revolution. See the highlighted link in the above.

It's critical that everyone vote in the poll ASAP.
Thank you,

Peter Schiff

Remeber Peter Schif? Well, Peter is on the Glenn Beck show often. Maybe Mr. Beck needs to be reminded that Peter supports Ron Paul!

I took the poll and added

I took the poll and added this comment:

What is Glenn Beck doing on CNN? Usually you guys are better than Fox. Did you notice that the major Ron Paul slogan ( created by volunteers) is Love'olution. That's right: Love, as in love for our soldiers, love for our country, love for other people's rights. Everything about Ron Paul is peaceful. Have you noticed how he doesn't even fall into the trap of smearing his fellow running mates? His message is always positive. And that, my CNN friends, is what is pulling many of his younger followers in. In fact, if you visited Ron Paul forums, you'd notice that when someone gets angry, the other forum members respond, "Remember, what would Ron Paul do?" He is such a roll model because he is a good and honest person! Stop attacking him already.

I am so tired of all the fear and hate I see coming from the media and mainstream politicians. While everyone else is talking about bombing Iran and staying in Iraq, Ron Paul is the lone voice saying, "can't we all just get along." What is it? Why is this message so hard to stomach? Is it just a ratings game? It is that fear and hate sell better for you? Why it is so hard for you to understand that we (and I mean this literally -- over 70% of Americans) just want peace again!? If Ron Paul doesn't win, I don't think his supporters are going to turn violent, rather we will likely return to our apathy and when the time comes, try to pick the least evil politician that you have presented for us. I have never been involved in or excited in politics until now because for once I feel like I have a chance to vote for someone that I honestly like and trust. If you continue to try to take this chance away from me, I won't turn violent, I just won't vote.

And Beck, you talked about democracy and then moved on trying to create fear and hate (hate comes from fear). Don't you remember what led to the rise of Fascism? Fear and hate. You are the undemocratic one, why don't you embrace love and the love'olution??? Or, at the very least, can let us enjoy democracy for a little while???

Yup! I canceled my insider

Yup! I canceled my insider subscription yesterday after I heard this.

I discovered Ron Paul in May 07 and since that time I've been increasingly frustrated with Beck's rant about the constitution and the loss of our liberty, the boarders, etc. Most of his bit I can get behind.

But the tide really turned when he had lunch at the White House with "Our Boy Wonder" only to return to the show and report to his listeners, what an incredible experience it was to have lunch and conversation with such an amazing and articulate man as our fearless desider. He said " He gets it "!

I gave Beck the benefit of the doubt as being mis guided or unaware, but yesterdays little display was the last straw. How he can speak about our constitution hanging by a thread and liberties fading into oblivion in the same breath dissing Dr. Paul's incredible courage, truth, integrity and not to mention passionate supporters, especially in the way he did, is beyond me.

I guess this is yet another example in the seemingly endless line of smoke and mirrors, lies and deception to check off the list!

Regardless of how painful this "waking up" process has been over the last 7 months, it's been worth every sleepless night, pang in the gut and added worry for my childrens future. I'm glad I took the red pill... It's been the best medicine...

Thank you Dr. Paul!

Donate your TIME and get our message across

Call all the 1-800 numbers on that list if you are a true supporter and donate 5 mins of your time!! Just yesterday a ron paul supporter gave $110,000 out of his pocket for a full page ad next week in USA Today, We can at least DONATE OUR TIME and stop this false neo-con propaganda!!!!

Do you go by "NewEnd" at

Do you go by "NewEnd" at ronpaulforums.com?

Why just go after the neocon media, which consists of Fox and...Fox? Why not show equal disgust for the leftist MSM? The left owns 99% of the media, and 100% of the education system. That's a WAY bigger threat to individual sovereignty than one sniveling twit on one network.

What's your real agenda?

I hope he's right...

Even if RP loses, doesn't mean that the majority has the right to impose their illegal and immoral will on us any longer. So long as we tolerate them, we enable these thieves and murderers. We pay our taxes, we sell our freedom for security. I am not sure what I'll do, I have a lot to lose as I'm sure many of you do. But we should be dangerous. The love of what's right is dangerous to those that would do wrong.

There are still pockets of

There are still pockets of freedom-fighters in the world, and they face the same threats to their liberties as we do. I hope we show the same guts as this lady, when they begin forcing the same program on us (it's just around the corner, make no mistake): http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7088315.stm

Everyone knows

Everyone in the media knows, if you trash Ron Paul, you get results, good or bad. I don't think Beck cares either way, he is just goading people to come to his site, to boost his ratings. This is the same crap that ... whats the website called..... makes me think of one of those weird beer names ,...... oh yeah, redstate.. Just trying to boost their site. Like I said then , I say it again, we got bigger and better fish to fry.

my letter to geico

Dear Geico,

I am writing this message to you as a valued customer for 10 years.

I am not placing blame on anyone as I know advertising dollars are spent and not really monitored as to which shows in which they are placed. I do humbly request that my voice (and hopefully others) be heard when I say that I believe that Geico should pay attention as to where their advertising dollars are placed.

My statement comes from a recent episode on the Glenn Beck show in which Mr Beck called anyone who supports Ron Paul as terrorist, anarchist, and in bed with Islamofacism. I am none of the above and I take offense to those statements. I do not however take offense to Geico or Geico's service as I have been very pleased over the past 10 years. I do not like seeing a company with such an outstanding record as yourself be associated with such a slanderous program. I would like to let my voice be heard that perhaps it may be in Geico's best interest to associate with better quality programs.

Sincerely,

XXXXXXX

wow

Thats good!

Thanks. Their response was

Thanks.

Their response was prompt and what I expected it to be. Basically they buy at the national level and have no control over where our advertisements are placed.

I'd bet if they got 10,000 of those letters.....they might pay more attention.

Get a screen capture if you can. Glenn has blatantly manipulated his results before...just for fun. His polls are little more than a joke.

However, the message he is starting to spread is scary...indicative of the police state.

The basic conflict: those who support a constitution designed to protect individual liberty versus those who support a dictatorship.

Missed my chance, he took the poll down. =(

How anyone can argue with

How anyone can argue with anything on LewRockwell.com is beyond me. Even if someone went there wanting to hate the site, they couldn't help but tip their hat to the word-smithing skills of Lew Rockwell's contributors. They consistently *DISMANTLE* their opponents with nothing more than the English language and the moral high ground. It is a joy to behold.

McCarthyism

Above Glenn Beck's fireplace mantle is a picture of big poppa Joseph McCarthy.

If we didnt already have Dec. 16 nailed down as the big donation day, Dec. 2 would be a good one, the day that Joe McCarthy ws censured.

This will be deleted,

but Glenn Beck is a fucking idiot

Agreed

Agreed, however his outrageous crap will backfire, turn to gold, and land right in the lap of Ron Paul. Watch and see. :O)

I have been on the bandwagon of bitching and moaning about Americans and Mainstream Media, but today I saw one story that really gives me hope. It was on CNN I believe and it goes a little something like this, and please forgive me for not having all the pertinant facts...as in reality they aren't that pertinant. Just substitute Americans for "a city".

This was a story of a 24 year Marine Corps vet (Semper Fi) republican who went up against an 8year Mayor in a large city (Americans). The Marine Corps vet had about 10% name recognition, his military background, and about 10k in the bank. The incumbant had about 3million in the bank, all the name recognition in the world, BUT undoubtadly (sp?) he absolutely could not bring the one thing his people wanted, and that was? Drum roll please............CHANGE!

It started with a rampant run of negative political ads. BOOM! There went name recognition to 70% almost instantly. Where the ads touted that the Marine didn't have "experience", the people saw change and a fresh start with someone who hasn't already been paid off by the system. What do you know, the Marine wins and it speaks volumes to us and to what we want to happen.

The truth is that when people start calling us Nazi's and such it will only sting for us, but it will mean the death of them through name recognition and for Americans seeing the Media talking heads for what they are, which is Neocon Talking Heads spewing propoganda at Americans when in truth only 10% buy into what they are selling.

I truly believe that Americans in general are very eager for real change, and a new direction in our government. One of the last things they said on the report was this, and I believe this to be true. People who are content with the way things are going are more likely to sit home and let the people vote. (ESPECIALLY when they have been told by "experts" that the norm will win). On the other hand Ron Paul supporters and anyone serious about casting a dissenting vote (and I welcome all of them) will show up in force to let their voices be heard.

This to me means that no matter how well Romney-Bot or Ghouliani-Bot show in the polls...there is no real change and their supporters and especially "sheep" will be FAR less likely to show up at the polls than our people.

The question I would put forward is this.

Would you rather have Romney's pretend poll lead, or an army of people who are sick and tired of the norm and are working their tails off for change in this country.

I know which group I stand with.

Love ya

My sentiments exactly

Fanaticism

Come on, people. Glen Beck is actually pretty funny a lot of the time, and most of what he says should be taken tongue-in-cheek.

Of course he doesn't really think the military should be let loose on us; we all know that, so let's just be thankful for more Ron Paul publicity, whether or not it's "good" or "bad" publicity and whether or not it's just designed to increase the prices for the ads played during his comercial breaks.

To act as thoughtless reactionaries every time Ron Paul's name is even slightly maligned is to make us no better than than the pundits and reporters who would thoughtlessly malign Ron Paul.

Let's take insults from others as Ron Paul himself does--with a humble smile and a soft-spoken defense of the truth.

I Still Believe

that Glenn Beck being a LDS (Mormon) plays a part in being Anti-Paul. I know there are some LDS who support Ron, my own Dad included, but most do not.

Glenn Beck is nothing put a tabloid talking head. He is not a serious journalist, because that requires more effort and commitment than he is capable of day in and day out. He claims he no longer uses drugs, but he sure acts like he still has some sort of chemical dependency.

Glenn Beck makes more money

Guys,

Glenn Beck knows that every time he has something about Ron Paul on his website he gets heavy traffic. The more traffic he has the more he can charge his advertisers and make more money.

I think it's pretty obvious that this meaningless, baseless, and irrelevant poll is done exactly for this purpose.

I doubt that a lot of people check out his website in the first place and If you want to screw him over, let's not go on his crappy site.

Glenn Beck has a low rated show and won't have any effect on Ron Paul's candidacy. The schmuck is completely irrelevant.

President Paul 2008!

rolling in his grave

According to Glen Beck, Winston Churchill said that "When you grow up ... huumm!... you can get some common sense". This would be hilarious, if it wasn't so insulting. Not just to the viewers but to the memory of the great man himself; particularly in lieu of last Sunday being commemoration day. But judge for yourself if we should add such utter gibberish to the compendium of Churchill's great quotes, which include;
-I never worry about action, but only inaction.
-A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.
-The farther backward you can look, the farther forward you are likely to see.
-There is nothing wrong with change, if it is in the right direction.
-Courage is the first of human qualities, because it is the quality which guarantees all others.
-Personally, I'm always ready to learn, although I do not always like being taught.
-There is only one duty, one safe course, and that is to try to be right.
-If you are going through hell, keep going.
-Sure I am of this, that you have only to endure to conquer. You have only to persevere to save yourselves.
-Perhaps it is better to be irresponsible and right, than to be responsible and wrong.
-There are plenty of good ideas if only they can be backed with the power of action.
-I like pigs. Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. Pigs treat us as equals.
-It is no use in saying, "we are doing our best." You have got to succeed in doing what is necessary.
-A fanatic is one who changes his mind and won't change the subject.
-Any man who is under 30, and is not a liberal, has no heart; and any man who is over 30, and is not a conservative, has no brains.

Mr.Beck has very litle credibility ...forget about him.

You are assuming he has a loyal following of believers. Do you honestly think his opinion is worth anything to anybody?

Do you see what he did?

He baited you and you took it.

These heads are all about controversy. They have NOTHING.

Frothing at the mouth when anyone speaks against Dr. Paul is WHAT THEY WANT.

His online poll is 9500 for Dr. Paul and 6 against. NOBODY PAYS ATTENTION TO THESE IDIOTS SO BE LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE AND DON'T PAY ATTENTION.

Best to all,

a prize gift

It is not a good policy to stick your head in the sand when someone wants to kick your arse.
This is a clear cut case of slander/ libel (I forget what the distinction is), and any other candidate would threaten to sue the arse off CNN for this blatant attack unless there was an immediately retraction. But I guess that that's exactly what their lawyers have assumed, given that Dr Paul is in a catch 22 situation with regards the money has being raised and can't go on a wild goose chase, or I think in America you call it a snipe hunt.
If I remember correctly in an episode of Cheers Frasier Crane undergoes such an initiation, and finally when he understands the gift that has being given him he turns the tables on the rest of the gang, which ultimately leads to his own 3 Golden Globes winining series.
Don't ignore what is happening, turn it to your own advantage.

We need to make an example

We need to make an example out of Beck, for all future talking heads that will dare call Americans terrorists just because they are supporting Ron Paul.

This what's great about RP supporters. You get set up to spend endless hours looking for an elaborate response and then someome beats you to it with a bumper sticker.
