direct implications that they are getting exactly what they want. They are taking our economy down so that we can get under a world economy/currency. I hear neocons saying that Paulson is brilliant and knows what he is doing. THIS I agree with. He is doing exactly what he wants done. Ruining our economy. How about that for straight talk?

Inflation is here and is only going to get worse! the Metals in that type of an environment should go bananas!
now add to that a metals shortage! where do you think the price of Silver and Gold are going to go to?? I trust Ron Paul with his analysis.. we are heading into a INFLATIONARY depression. the metals are in shortage and that is fact! other governments/countries around the world are buying gold. what do they know that you do not!

We are going into a deflationary depression now, which will devastate the ecomony, especially retail, and will be followed up by Weimar-style currency collapse.
The economy in the next several years will be so scary nobody, not even goose-stepping Bushies, will remember the War on Terror.
Anyone who isn't investing in metal should be investing in guns or agriculture. All three are hardened, good investments.

Sierra... I agree with you, but I don't think things are quite so black and white. Now seems like a good time to buy silver and gold, this is true. 6 months ago wasn't a good time, and you were saying the same thing then. I bought silver at 18 an ounce... foolishly. Do I regret it? Not really, because I'm not planning on selling it. Still, don't you think it might be a good idea to at least try to get a better price on PM's rather than just buying at every opportunity? I would have almost twice as many ounces of silver now had I paid attention to the market rather than reverting to panic mode.
