Gas War in my Town

We have a gas station on 3 of four corners in the center of our little idiot town here in CT. Gassed up yesterday at 1.86. Just went into town for errands, first time I passed, it was 1.84, 15 minutes later it was 1.82, half an hour later was 1.79.
What are gas prices in your area?

I filled up my car this morning
and I live in Lake Jackson, Tx. south of Houston, Tx. and I paid $1.58. Every day the gas keeps dropping a few cents or more.

Perhaps you should consider converting
your car to run on vegetable oil or alcohol.
Or buy an electric car.
The prohibition of alcohol was specifically engineered by Rockefeller (who spent millions of his own money promoting the prohibition) to replace alcohol -- the first fuel cars were created to run on -- with gasoline, a toxic waste by-product of oil. By the time prohibition was over, cars had been changed to where they would only run on gasoline and no longer run on alcohol, thus creating a huge market and "use" for toxic waste.

Yeah, it would be cheaper there if they let you guys pump your own gas. I have relatives in Oregon, and I can never get used to letting someone else fill my tank when we visit.
Ours has been around $1.90
Ours has been around $1.90 for a couple weeks now. Today, I saw $1.83. We've been the cheapest here in VA for a few weeks, and it should keep dropping based on the price of oil and the wholesale price of gas dropping to $1.15 today.
Edit: I take that back, some places here in VA are down to $1.66 now.

Actually, I think I live in the town that has the lowest gas prices in the country. Today, the 18th, it is 1.51. Nice to see the effect of free markets on this anyway, if not on anything else in this country.

Half the state of CT is in town today filling up cuz we are the lowest around, even hit the local news.
