Ron Paul LEADS GOP Candidates in Military Donations

52.53% of military donations to GOP candidates went to Ron Paul. It may be only $23,000, but I think it is very significant. As a mother, it almost makes me cry. They want to come home. Their families want them home. I would imagine these are primarily grassroots small individual contributions. I think they are huge.

FEC data is a mess

I wanted to see what some of the Democrats were taking in in these categories and found it almost impossible to get any kind of accurate total. The problem is when people listed their employer, "Army", "US Army", "U.S. Army" "United States Army", "Dep. of the Army", "U.S. Army Reserve", etc. are all listed as different categories. There are several dozen categories they could be listed under for military service, and sometimes there are spelling mistakes. It's obvious that the people at Thespinfactor.com left things out, and the attempt by Iraqslogger.com to fix it by adding in the Marines didn't work either since they claim McCain got $1600 from the Marines and Paul got nothing, but I can see Paul got $500 from "USMC" and $1000 from "CITI AND THE USMC RESERVES". I tossed in DHS because of the BP and ICE. I'm sure there are still mistakes, but the this is the best I can do:

net nuetrality-what is it anyway?

Please give us a summary of the issue about net nuetrality, and what does the Federal Gov. have to do with it. I think you're missing the BIG point about Ron Paul - less (not more) intervention by the Fed.. what's wrong with the net as it is?

alan laney

Internet Regulation by the Federal Government Unconstitutional

Ron Paul is against anything that violates the U.S. Constitution. Since the U.S. Constitution no where gives the federal government the authority to regulate the internet, of course he would be against the government mandating net neutrality. Ron Paul is a principled and honest politician. He says what he believes and he does what he says he will do. I don't know of any other presidential candidate that is as principled as Ron Paul is. If politicians don't obey the constitution, there is no rule of law in this country.

Ron Paul Is Right

....net neutrality is bad. At least that was my understanding of a recent blog here about Ron Paul opposing net neutrality. I believe it would lead to not away from government intervention.

Seems so often Bills, Lobbyist Groups, Think Tanks, Not-For-Profits are named something that is not definitive of their real purposes. Sure makes for a confusing world. Truth. Why can't people just say what they mean and call themselves by a proper name. Sigh. Go Ron Paul .

I think we are on a roooollllll, myself!

Ron Paul Is Wrong And So Are You!

Net Nuetrality Is good, dont ever believe anyone who tells you diiferent, i know there are many "pipe dream" arguments about the free market and what it "could" provide, but, this is the real world, and if the net goes 2.o and into private control,we all die in fema camps real fast! not joking.

you’re right

These numbers representing the military may not be huge right now, but you’re right, the ratio is a big deal. It is interesting to compare against half-dressed media…

“While our evidence is only anecdotal (many email complaints), Pajamas Media editors suspect that targeted voting by Paul supporters on this and other open polls may even be hurting their candidate because the public is turned off by his supporters’ behavior.”

Translation: ‘though evidence for our bias is lacking… we will take this opportunity to malign Ron Paul.’

Actually, PJ Media probably hurt them selves adding this unnecessary comment. And, for whatever reason, these transparent attacks seem to end up helping Ron Paul.

No, forget about them. The real story is the military contributions; as if they don’t give enough already. The issues and ideals Ron Paul speaks to are the reasons men and women enlist and serve.

Troops Now Guilty of Spamming Ron Paul With Donations!

Sheesh! Is it not perfectly clear now?

Recent data show that:

(1) Approximately 78% of Iraqis want us to go home.

(2) Americans are in close agreement; about 70% want us to bring the troops home.

(3) The President of Iraq has said very recently that we could leave at any time, i.e., that they could handle the situation.

(4) Over half of the politically active Republican troops have voted with their hard-earned hazardous duty pay to support the only true anti-war candidate that has a good chance of winning the presidency.

Okay...so who you gonna call?

hilarious

I'm sorry, but I'm going to need to steal your subject-line, Likkerish.

If you Support Our Troops then Honor Our Troops!

After reading the reports, it occurs to me that there are a lot of "Support Our Troops" yellow ribbon decals on cars and in windows. I see yellow ribbons tied on trees and poles everywhere. If our Troops are supporting Ron Paul with not only their hard-earned, limited finances, but also their blood and lives, then the least any American can do to support the troops is to put Ron Paul in the White House. This alone should be the only reason anyone needs.

Support our Troops by honoring them with a vote for Ron Paul

Olympia, Washington Meetup group for Ron Paul in 2008!

Support the Troops / Vote Ron Paul

Support the Troops / Vote Ron Paul, simple. I agree, reason enough to stand w/Paul. I’ve been saying for a while; Support the Troops / Bring em’ Home

No Surprise

.
Thank God I am not a soldier in Iraq. If I were, I would want to come home double-quick. Regardless of the mission, there is depleted uranium all over the place, and DU is something to stay away from: it is deadly.

As most of us know, Ron Paul is the only candidate who would bring the troops home ASAP. So it is no surprise that the military are supporting him. He is the only one with any sense or compassion for our forces.

Slight Correction/Marines Left Out

This just in. They left out the Marines which contributed to McCain. But still...and since he's toast, it doesn't change that this is good news.
