Off topic, just for holiday laughs

I used to write a "Christmas Carol" for the holiday party each year. It is such a rare talent, and I have so little chance to share it now that I am out of the rat race - lol! Here is one of my better efforts, if I do say so myself. I wrote it several years ago, but with just a little tweak, it works even better now...
To the tune of Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas song:

Christmas time is here again
Could you spare a dime, my friend?
I was out there shopping hard,
Till they took my credit card.
Checks that bounce like superballs
Have been passed at all the malls
Hope the kids can make the bail
When they haul me to jail.

Christmas time is almost here,
Better grab another beer.
Y2K's around the bend, (Update:"Can't tell what's around the bend)
Do you think the world will end?
I want to get completely looped
Then go find a prostitute.
New Year's Eve will be a blast,
I hope it's not the last.

I realize the setting matters a bit: We had a small ensemble of women and one very Christian man with a wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful voice. He got the "prostitute" line as a solo.
OK it is a bit dark, but sometimes you have to stare into the abyss and laugh anyway. Happy Holidays, folks!
Better grab another beer.

Daily Yuks

There was a joke thread started here somewhere, but I couldn't find it, so thought I would post this gem here for those looking for a laugh:

Barrack Obama, Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey were flying on Obama's private plane.

Obama looked at Oprah, chuckled and said, 'You know, I could throw a $1,000 bill out of the window right now and make somebody very happy.'

Oprah shrugged her shoulders and replied, 'I could throw ten $100 bills out of the window and make ten people very happy.'

Michelle added, 'That being the case, I could throw one hundred $10 bills out of the window and make a hundred people very happy.'

Hearing their exchange, the pilot rolled his eyes and said to his co-pilot, 'Such big-shots back there. I could throw all of them out of the window and make 56 million people very happy.'
