Strategic Activism Could Help End The Fed! - HR 833
Here is a concept that could harness the power of this movement and turn it into a force to be reckoned with. It's called - STRATEGIC ACTIVISM! The basic concept is this: Instead of trying to educate the entire population of the US (which can still be an ongoing process), focus the "fire power" of the movement on the legislative process and the specific bills that we want to become law.
For instance: RP's bill to abolish the FED must go through the legislative process of passing the required committees as it makes its way to the floor for a general vote. Let's say the committee has 15 members and RP needs 8 votes to get it passed. If RP would post the names of the 8 people who need persuading and tell us "when to fire", the ENTIRE RP MOVEMENT could focus all it's resources on getting those 8 votes. Shock and Awe that committee and we are on to the next.
Here's the reality folks! We only have limited time and money and we are up against formidable foes who have a lot more resources than we do. Therefore, if we are to make the best use of this movement we need to work "Smarter - not Harder". If Strategic Activism was adopted by RP and the CFL, it could make a huge difference in bringing about the change we all seek!

I understand where you are coming from,
However, if you or I call for a "Shock and Awe" on a committee we might get 30-40 people to take action. Whereas if RP called the shots he could get the entire RP NATION to respond - possibly 100,000.
Plus it would give RP even more clot when everyone finds out he can simply request support and it will be there!
I think we should also use similar tactics with these...
"State Sovereignty" bills. If we can get the states to reassert sovereignty then we immediately have a HUGE weapon to fight back against the Federal government usurping rights not delegated. Even the issue of the Federal Reserve could be fought on the grounds that there was no authority given to which the power of coining money could be relinquished to a foreign entity.

Coordination is key
There are many organizations all working toward this goal. If we could get them all to work in a coordinated way, I think this is such a great idea. So, work with DownsizeDC.org, JBS.org, maybe NTU, or CAGW, etc., etc., get them all to agree to a date that they send out an alert to all their mailing lists so we all contact our reps and the committee people all on the same day.
There are just soooo many organizations and it's all divided. If we can bring them all together to do a coordinated campaign, it would have a much better impact.
Feb 23 the next key date?
The older version of the bill HR2755, was due before the "House" Financial Sevices Committee on that date. I do not know if the re-introduction will alter that date. For sure, we need to send stuff to them now, well before the hearing date.

Here's the main point. If you and I call for a strategic action we might get 10-15 responses over the course of a week. However, if RP made a video, posted the key members to contact including a specific day, the numbers, impression and impact would be FAR GREATER and more effective!
Something tells me if RP called for it we could easily generate 100,000 hits.

Nature teaches many lessons if we listen.
Collectivists know this one well, and have been using it to advance their agenda for a long time, but are becoming much more sophisticated today. Due to the nature of individualists, such tactics are hard to convince others of...I've been trying. Another tactical lesson is to allow the enemy to think our numbers are more than they are. Sending emails to Congress merely let's them know our numbers (we are having an effect though because our numbers grow and they know it). Hard copy on the other hand, is a much better tool; something has to be done with it, and it is much easier to make us seem bigger than we are. More info about the fireant concept can be found here:

In order for us to be much more effective, we should agree on one issue (the cow), and strike relentlessly, focusing our efforts like the rays of the sun with a magnifying glass so the paper catches fire. Constitutional money (Ron Paul's primary issue) is an excellent target. If we all focus our energies on that one issue, we will see results, but we must be relentless; day in and day out on that one issue, for it alone will unravel many other issues which we are all passionate about and slow dowm the collectivist agenda. That is why I put together these Constitutional Viollations. Let's innudate DC with paper, all screaming in large letters, VIOLATION. At some point the media will take notice.
