So far, all the reported pertussis cases in Gaston have been people who have had the vaccination for the disease, Hawkins said.
Dr. Jeffrey Engel, North Carolina's state epidemiologist, said several factors contribute to the outbreaks. The vaccine is not 100 percent effective, he said, and many people refuse to take it on medical or religious grounds, he said.
So why mention the ones who are refusing to take it on medical or religious grounds as being part of the problem?
The article SHOCKINGLY admitted that ALL the cases have previously been vaccinated !!!!!!

All 16 cases! I agree...why mention those who choose not to vax. It is completely irrelevant except to point out that those who do not vax have stronger immune systems, thus they most likely are fighting the illness on their own and not seeking medical assistance:).

Those who take vitamins or eschew vaccinations or do anything independent to care for themselves have long been in the scope of those who want to be in charge of your body.
