How can they 'make this fly' again?

I keep waiting and watching. Patiently. I know, in my heart, as Dr. Paul has said, that this system is untenable. It can't be fixed. It is a failed system. There is nothing backing our money other than our diminishing ability to pay our debts.

But what if they fix it?

Not saying he's wrong or we're wrong... but what if they figured something out that we haven't touched upon yet? What is they pull an end run that we haven't figured?

Is there any conceivable way that the elitists can pull this off and make the system work or are they just spinning their wheels till it all comes apart?

This debt based money system requires more and more debt

creation based on the expansion of the economy. This is possible when the overall number and the productivity of workers are improving. For example, workers are growing from young and unproductive workers to more mature and productive workers. But, at one point, the trend will change like right now as baby boomers are getting ready to retire. This is when the system hits the brick wall and it simply cannot be fixed.

At this point, I believe that elites are thinking about two possible solutions for a new system.

1) Include more people of the world into the sytem to create one world system, thus, effectively increasing the number and the productivity of the workers.

2) Go back to a commodity based money system.

Even if 1) is the real plan, they still have to implement 2) type system for a while.

Therefore, shouting about gold standard is a moot point because it's going there anyway.

Just my opinons.

Rome

When Nero burned Rome it is said that he played his harp and laughed. Centuries later Rome dissolved into nothing; it financially collapsed and of course the turmoil within its own government led to the demise. We are witnessing nearly the exact same thing the Romans did. The only difference is we all know it and can view it via live television in real time. I can only imagine how some of the Roman citizens felt. But most of those citizens were happy to see it dissolve because Rome had caused so much oppresion and death. Much like our government and the leading governments of this earth have caused so much oppresion and death within their own borders and abroad. It is quite ironic the similarities witnessed about 1600 years ago and today. This is not fake; it is real and our system is going to collapse and it will happen quickly.

When the Weimar Republic failed due to hyperinflation

They just came up with a new currency backed by real estate and in 15 years were a super power under Hitler. No problem. The Federal government owns lots of property especailly after buying all these bad loans . When are you people going to realize we are doomed and there is nothing we can do about it. 10 times as many people as supported Ron Paul vote based on what the gasoline price is. You think they care about who will preserve the Constitution. Ha Ha Ha Bend over and kiss your ass godbye. We are truely doomed.

Failing System?

The system is only failing for Main Street, not the elitists (they are getting bailed out by Main Street)....and they will probably throw Main Street the bone when they have contrived a way to own every red cent you earn, spend or invest.

Hmm, Interesting thought

I share the sentiment in a way. I know the system isn't viable as well. We all know they must inherently self-destruct eventually.

Could they pull it off? I think in a cloaked sort of way there is a possibility: they allow this one to destruct, and replace it with another one just like it but with a few power tweaks, and sell it to the uneducated masses in the following way:

"Well folks, this one was a good run, but we fucked up and we're sorry. This one broke and we know why, but it lasted a long time so the theory is sound. So we've come up with a new system similar to it which corrects the flaws that caused the first problem, and everything should be fine now."

Then it continues as usual. The people cheer and go back to walmart, life goes on, and the bankers shake hands and say "holy shit that was close." Then again I could be completely wrong and we say "no way- you had your chance."

What if they fix it?

Have you ever unplugged something and then acted like you couldn't get it to work? I used to do it to the TV on family vacations (only from the fuse box).
It's that kind of thing.
More accurately,
A fantasy can't be broken or fixed.

So if I'm reading you right Mike....

You're saying there is no fiscal/financial/economic crisis? It's all manufactured?

I can't see that. I think the current system, as RP said, has been in effect since 1971. It had it's run and is now finished. My question is, could there be something the international banksters pull out of their ass that will actually keep this system going? Or are we hell-bent and bound to crash?

If you truly believe it is a manufactured crisis, what do you think is the upside? What purpose is there to destroy the boat you're sitting in? Eugenics? We're certainly primed for it.

The whole economy is manufactered

When you have control over all the physical land and resources you will ever need, what else is left?

These people have not relied on the "economy" in a long long time. The whole thing has been a play to get control of real wealth.

We have never lived in a time with a free market or a real economy so no one sees the game.

'Control' is a funny thing....

Banks may 'feel' like they control real property, physical land, etc... but a deed in a safe does not control make!

The map is not the territory, as they say. Moving a lot of people off their land is a mighty unpopular thing. It tend to get people killed. On both sides.

I realize that our entire economy and monetary system is based on nothing, but I think that system has come to an end. Either enough people have wised up and seen the emperor's new clothes or the bubble just got too big and burst. So whether 'real' or not, it is the only game in town... and it's leaving on the next bus.

We are in full agreement

The transition is what worries me and I guess is the crux of your statement. I hope they do, I need to get some customers in the door. Funny money or not, it pays the bills.
