Too bad 'ol Neil

wasn't better to RP in the early primary days. Cavuto has a lot of viewers and he could have really helped the cause....He didn't.

I occasionally find him entertaining, but at the end of the day he's an entertainer....Nothing more.

I thought he was generally pretty fair

Fortune Favors the Bold

although I haven't seen every interview

Fortune Favors the Bold

Mmmmmm it's not so much a "fair" issue

as an issue about just not giving RP airtime.

During the primaries I realized that the talking heads are just entertainers (including Cavuto) so I'm not bothered by their bias now. He acts all outraged by bailouts and gov't spending, yet failed to even give a hint of support for the 1 guy that was speaking the truth on these issues long before it became a government-sponsored crisis.

Yup. I agree. Neil Cavuto

Yup. I agree.

Neil Cavuto had his chance and i personally will never forget his dismissive remarks when President Ron Paul.. oops .. i mean Ron Paul tried to warn us of current events.

The slogan press on has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race. No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave.

- Calvin Coolidge

fair and balanced

If you'll notice, Cavuto will take the other side of an issue even if he agrees with the person he's interviewing just for the sake of argument in order to challenge the person. That's his job.

On many occasions I've seen him disagree with someone he's interviewing and then interview another person using the person's positions that he disagrees with. This is good journalism and shouldn't be taken so personally.

You can tell when he's really giving his own positions though, because he's more passionate. He's never showed passion against Dr. Paul in any interview.

He is also

a Zionist PIG.

Ben Stein correct?

I've lost a huge amount of respect for Ben Stein in the past 12 months. Especially his movie Expelled.

I don't like Stein, an arrogant know it all.

Benjamin Jeremy Stein (born November 25, 1944) is an American television personality, economic and political commentator, writer, and attorney. He gained early success as a speechwriter for American presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford. Later he entered the entertainment field and became an Emmy Award-winning actor, comedian, and game show host. He is famous for his monotonous yet humorous voice in acting.

Stein has frequently written commentaries on economic, political, and social issues, along with financial advice to individual investors. He is the son of noted economist and writer Herbert Stein[1] who worked at the White House under President Nixon. His sister, Rachel, is also a writer.

Stein began his political career as a speechwriter and lawyer for President Richard Nixon, and later for President Gerald Ford. On May 3, 1976, Time magazine speculated on the possibility of Stein having actually been Deep Throat. Stein responded over the years by not only denying he was Deep Throat, but by going further and accusing journalist Bob Woodward of falsifying the famous secret source. In the May 14–21, 1998, edition of the Philadelphia City Paper Stein is quoted saying, "Oh, I don't think there was a Deep Throat. That was a fake. I think there were several different sources and some they just made up."[

Deep Throat is the pseudonym given to the secret source who provided information to The Washington Post about the involvement of United States President Richard Nixon's administration in what came to be known as the Watergate scandal.

Now is the time to JUMP-START the campaigns for 2010 and 2012.
We didn't lose. The ignorant lost. We know what has happened. Personally I think John McCain Has been used as a patsy. To bring about an Obama administration.

Wasn't Ben Stien ...

an advisor to one of our presidents?? Was it Reagan??

Anyway, whatta jerk! But, yeah, it's great to see the talking heads bumping them together every once in a while!! The public needs more of this kind of bumping going on! Maybe they'll begin to ask questions to see which one is right and do a little research to figure it out!

I think

he wrote speeches for Nixon.

"It's just one big Club - and WE ain't in it"

"Tyrants fear nothing more than insubordination"

"It's just one big club... and WE ain't in it!"

You win

the prize. He was one of Nixon's speech writers.

Comments refer to an episode

Comments refer to an episode starring Peter Schiff vs Ben Stein. Let me know when you find that video. I looked couldn't find it, dieing to see it.

"Moreover, as America becomes an increasingly multicultural society, it may find it more difficult to fashion a consensus on foreign policy issues, except in the circumstances of a truly massive and widely perceived direct external threat."

"But, indeed, no private person has a right to complain, by suit in court, on the ground of a breach of the Constitution. The Constitution it is true, is a compact, but he is not a party to it."

Here ya go

I've lived in a bubble.

I didn't know who or what Ben Stein was before seeing this piece. Google indicates he's some sort of investing guru. After this taste of him I hope he's long on the US dollar and short on gold.

New Hampshire and Ecuador

yikes..i'll say..i couldn't

yikes..i'll say..i couldn't even listen..that guy? Who IS he? Whadda jerk.

Before he went to Hollywood,

Stein was as a speech writer for Richard Nixon.

Stein got famous for a bit role in "Weekend at Bernie's"

if my memory serves me correctly. He was the boring teacher.
I have become VERY suspicious of anyone who "suddenly" is presented as an expert, or "suddenly" breaks out in Hollywood, or "suddenly" becomes a powerful political player... Stein is one of those, in my opinion.

Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

He was the teacher in Ferris

He was the teacher in Ferris Bueller's Day Off:

"Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?"

He's played

in lots of comedies including MASK with Jim Carey. I don't know when the guy lost his mind, though.
