Give Sarah Palin a break!
Did it ever occur to the people trashing Sarah Palin that MAYBE they are dumping on a potential ally?
OK, there are those of you that despise the Republican Party and everyone in it (with the possible exception of Ron Paul). I'm not talking to you.
But for anyone that thinks there is still a chance of rehabilitating the GOP, why jump on the MSM bandwagon of ridiculing and humiliating Palin?
I don't know about you, but I am always suspicious when a lot of comedians, liberal bloggers, and mainstream political pundits start trashing a political figure. I will admit it makes me suspect that there might be something GOOD about them!
Look at the junk they were saying about Ron Paul. And believe me it would have been ten times worse if he had actually been able to gather more national attention.
Sarah Palin was one of the very few politicians, of either major party, who ever had anything good to say about Ron Paul.
And look at the nature of the criticisms leveled at her. What they amount to is that she is an inexperienced, bubble-headed, beauty queen that does not handle herself well in interviews.
I will admit that I am somewhat prejudiced because my wife is a former runner-up Miss Nevada. I am proud of her and I don't think you will find a finer example of a patriot, male or female, in our movement.
I guess it all boils down to this, almost all of the crap they heap on Sarah are cheap shots that could be applied to almost anyone. (Have YOU ever tried being interviewed on national TV? Don't you think They could make YOU look like an idiot if they wanted too?)
Her greatest sin was accepting the nomination for running mate to one of the biggest slimeball traitors in American history. But what does that really mean? For all we know, the Conspiracy may have known that McCain was going to lose anyway. Or They could have been planning on encapsulating her (not hard to do with a vice president), used her as a running gag to further humiliate McCain's administration (remember, his chief value in office would have been to finally put a stake through the heart of the GOP once and for all) or even bumped her off if she didn't play ball.
My take on Sarah is this, she is a very likable woman who has the great advantages of NOT being a Washington DC insider, NOT being a member of the CFR, and NOT having a lot of political experience.
Maybe she is exactly what she appears to be, a naive but good-hearted politician, who deserves to have us cut her some slack until she proves otherwise.
Maybe SHE could be educated, unlike 90% of the cynical Washington political establishment.
But she isn't likely to listen to a movement populated with knee jerk critics blowing mindless raspberries along with the rest of the insider crowd.

Actually they both are the quintessential completely fake and autistic politicians who have no idea about any issue but will try their best to stupidly say what they think people want to hear.
Sarah Palin is not even close to a Libertarian she is like 2 notches to the right of Obama.
OK to put this to bed.
Sarah is not the sharpest tool in the shed.
She has made some mistakes and isn't worthy to shine Ron Paul's shoes as a politician.
Her biggest mistake was agreeing to run with McTraitor, and most of what she has said of a damning nature (e.g. Neo-Fascist globalist rhetoric) occurred after she agreed to be his running mate.
Of course if she hadn't succumbed to that temptation, none of us would have ever heard of her or given a rip about what she thought about the war in Iraq.
Don't support her.
Don't trust her.
And for Heaven's sake, don't follow her.
I could say similar things about people like Naomi Wolf, or any number of others from the right and left who have had a checkered past (from the standpoint of liberty) but at least show some inkling of a clue and aren't obviously one of the INSIDERS.
But don't waste your time helping the MAINSTREAM MEDIA humiliating a potential ally through mindless bashing.
At best it is kicking a dead horse, and at worst it is shooting ourselves in the foot.

All Sarah Palin had to do
All Sarah Palin had to do was say that she did not support the Iraq war and the way we went into to it. All she had to say was that she is opposed to preemptive wars. Instead, she applauded and supported the Bush/McCain war policy for all it was worth.
I see no political courage in her. I see only that she is looking out for her political future, and will do and say whatever she thinks will fly with the neocons. And that is what I despise most about politicians.... Integrity is what matters to me
As far as the idea of training her !???!!!.....That idea speaks for itself.
My problem with Mrs. Palin is simple:
She is a 40 something year old governor who has serious gaps in her knowledge when it comes to the basics of foreign and domestic policy; she spouts lines without fully understanding what she is saying; and she has no class.
I won't even bother discussing the first two points. I'll simply refer you to her performance in the single VP debate, the Katie Couric interviews... in fact, any event where she was unscripted will pretty much support my position. I will not say that she is stupid, but I will assert that it is highly unlikely that she is clever.
As to my third point, on the campaign trail she repeatedly resorted to cheap shots instead of discussing the merits of Obama's plans. Her repeated attempts to link Obama to Ayers were particularly reprehensible. It was the same sort of guilt-by-association, character assassination garbage that the Republican Party Machinery attempted to pull on Ron Paul when they found out that that white supremacist fellow had donated to his campaign. The whole thing was very, VERY unbecoming, and she showed how low she was, and is ready to stoop to get her way.

Anyone who says, I don't care. When faced with the question if her backdrop is a doomed Turkey and a curious farmer, is okay in my book. Her common sense, old fashioned REAL style is something I appreciate.
At least she would stand up to the evil people currently in government.

I think it is clear that she is a super ambitious woman
willing to do and say just about anything to grab another rung on the power ladder. She also doesn't seem to be to knowledgeable or have much concern for the Constitution. In fact, I can only think of two things that are positives for her. The first one is she didn't dump on Ron Paul, the second, is that the MSM and MS politicos seem to dislike and be threatened by her.

Couldn't agree with you more. She's not perfect, but she's better than any other "mainstream" politician offered this election cycle (Ron Paul not included of course).
She's been bashing big government and promoting free markets as much as the McCain campaign would allow her. That's the reason the media went ape-sh*t on her. I wish people here wouldn't be so quick to go along with whatever their media masters tell them.
