Ron Paul's Theory of Blowback can be seen in The Attacks in Mumbai
With the recent terrorist attacks in Mumbai that occurred where the terrorists took numerous hostages, they were mainly looking for tourists who had American and British passports. This is another sign that Ron Paul was right and predicted this. We have so many entangling alliances around the world and our troops are spread out so far that many people from many countries cannot stand us. Similar to the September 11th attacks, people do not like us because we feel as if we must interfere all over the world. They are now taking innocent Americans hostage because of our foreign policy stance.
Thanks for all of those leaving comments, but yes my mistake. It is an obvious form of blowback that Ron Paul WARNED us about with what will happen and with what already has happened. More proof that Ron Paul is the only one talking about blowback while Obama was seen to have been the 'peace' candidate. Yet we still have tens of thousands of troops in Germany.

I tend to see this represented in a larger asian conflict
India represents the west (us, uk, israel...)
pakistan the east (china, iran...)
asia's new found wealth has given rise to some serious military alliances
evidence of this can be found in the current sri lankin conflict as well
we can only hope that there was no false flag operations in order to provoke retaliation

MUMBAI, INDIA 4:00AM -- Mumbai is under attack. People and forces who killed
Mahatama Gandhi, who demolished the Babari Mosque have triumphed. More than
16 groups of terrorists have taken over Taj, Oberai and several hotels.
Hundreds of people are dead. For the first time no one is blaming Muslim
organizations. The Mumbai ATS chief Hemant Karkare and other officers of the
ATS have been killed. These were the same people who were investigating the
Malegaon Blastsin which Praggya Singh, an army officer and several other
noted personalities of the BJP-RSS-Bajrang Dal-VHP were arrested. Karkare
was the man to arrest them. Karkare was receiving threats from several
quarters. LK Advani, the BJP chief and several other prominent leaders of
the so-called Hindu terrorism squad were gunning for his head. And the first
casualty in the terrorist attack was Karkare! He is deadgonethe firing by
terrorists began from Nariman Housewhich is the only building in Mumbai
inhabited by Jews. Some Hindu Gujaratis of the Nariman area spoke live on
several TV channelsthey openly said that the firing by terrorists began
from Nariman house. And that for two years suspicious activities were going
on in this house. But no one took notice.
Our worst fears have come true. It is clear that Mossad is involved in the
whole affair. An entire city has been attacked by Mossad and probably units
of mercenaries. It is not possible for one single organization to plan and
execute such a sophisticated operation. It is clear that this operation was
backed by communal forces from within the Indian State. The Home Minister
Shivraj Patil should resign. The RSS-BJP-VHP-Bajrang Dal should be banned.
Advani and others ought to be arrested. Today is a day of shame for all
Indians and all Hindus. Muslims and secular Hindus have been proven right.
RSS type forces and Israel are all involved in not only destabilizing but
finishing India. India should immediately snap all relations with Israel. We
owe this much to Karkare and the brave ATS men who had shown the courage to
arrest Praggya Singh, Raj Kumar Purohit, the army officer and several others.
A photograph published in Urdu Times, Mumbai, clearly shows that Mossad and
ex-Mossad men came to India and met Sadhus and other pro-Hindutva elements
recently. A conspiracy was clearly hatched.
This is a moment of reckoning especially for Hindus of India. The killers of
Gandhi have struck again. If we are true Sanatanis and true Hindus and true
nationalists and true patriots we have to see this act as a clear attack by
anti-national deshdrohi forces. Praggya Singh, Advani and the entire brand
is anti-national. They ought to be shot. Any Hindu siding with them is
hereafter warned of serious consequences.
This is a question of nationalism. If no one else, the Indian army will not
take this lying down. Communal, anti-national forces have attacked the very
foundation of the Indian constitution and the nation. We will fight a civil
war if need be against the pro-Hindutva, communal forces and their Israeli
backers.

If Blowback is 'in context of history' as CDH put it, please help me understand then why US bomb explosive experts are on their way to India as was just reported here on the news.
For whatever reason
the attacks occurred , the end result is that Bush / Obama are now justified in taking the war to Pakistan. Now they have the excuse of helping India.
Another prediction on a Ron
Another prediction on a Ron Paul site that will never come true.
Remember when Chertoff said he had a gut feeling that a terror attack would happen last summer, and Alex Jones said we were all going to be enslaved? Never happened.
interesting twist
• "foreign looking, fair skinned" men
• "They did not look Indian, they looked foreign. One of them, I thought, had blonde hair. The other had a punkish hairstyle. They were neatly dressed," says Mr Amir.
• The police arrived half an hour after it was all over and the men had vanished into a balmy Mumbai evening.

Who has the Motive and Means for and attack of this style...
WHO: US/ISRAEL
MOTIVE: India Seeking to Bolster Ties with Iran
TEHRAN (FNA)- India is seeking to boost relations with Iran in all fields, including energy, the country's Ambassador to Iran Manbir Singh said.
India says it considers its own national interests and wants to develop relations with Iran without being intimidated by political pressure.
"Iran and India could develop relations not only in the field of energy but also in new industries, mineral products and banking activities," press tv quoted Indian Ambassador to Iran Manbir Singh as saying Sunday in a meeting at Tehran's chamber of commerce.
The minister stressed that India would not let outside political pressure distract the developing relations between the two countries.
Iran and India have recently approved several memorandums of understanding including the declaration of Bandar-e Shahid Rajaei and Jawaharlal Nehru port as sister cities and cooperating in agriculture and trade.
Tehran and New Delhi are have also expressed commitment to continue talks on the huge 2,775-kilometer pipeline project that will transfer 60 million cubic meters of natural gas per day from Iran to Pakistan and India.
This is while some media outlets had speculated that New Delhi is being influenced by US pressure to quit the project. According to the speculations, the country is not willing to carry out the gas pipeline project, as New Delhi is now a nuclear nation.
The Indian Ambassador to Iran rejected the speculations, and said, "India is a big energy consumer and we are interested to see the Iran-Pakistan-India (IPI) gas pipeline built."
Indian Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee had said earlier in November that the US-Indo nuclear deal would have no impact on energy ties with Iran.
Nuclear power "is one source of energy, the other important source is the IPI gas pipeline. One is not exclusive to the other," Mukherjee said.
Iran and Pakistan initiated a Gas Sales Purchase Agreement earlier this year while Indian and Pakistani officials announced they had resolved almost all bilateral issues, including transit fee which saw New Delhi boycotting IPI pipeline talks for about a year.
MEANS: CIA/Mossad - Covert OP laying the blame on Pakistan
WHY: They in no way want India and Iran to start this pipeline deal which could also form into a joint defense agreement like Iran has with Russia.
Not to mention the focus of the american people on the FED and the 8.5Trillion of new debt is is printing to further enslave the masses.

that makes a lot of sense. Well thought out...do you have any links on this line of thought?

very nice analysis
this is not about blowback- this is about world domination and those standing in the way.

I question
If they wanted just American and British passports holders then why did the gunmen attack a train station, hospital for women and children, and a jewish center?
How many westerners can be found in these places?
India has its own problems that have nothing to do with our INTERFERING, foreign policy.
So I am not sure this is a message to the US. However I will wait and see what comes of this horrific attack.
Uh...the British influence
Uh...the British influence in Indian is overwhelming.
Yes...Ron Paul shares with many of us the understanding that
entangling alliances will inevetibaly lead to blowback. Blowback is not the reason for every act of violence however. Blowback is not what compelled a team to fit bld 7 with explosives.
The blowback theory
e.g. reality is actually originally used by some CIA personnel. The fact that the group may be connected to Al Qaeda and looking for US and UK nationals especially, does suggest they want to target the countries most active with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, indeed. At Bali most Australian tourists were targeted again. I view blowback as the catalyst to the extremist groups to attack.
bump
bump
I doubt that this attack is
anywhere near related to blowback. The term blowback helps to distract the attention from looking where we should be looking. A lot of time wasted looking elsewhere and blaming others whilst they keep continuing their plans.
I have no doubt in my mind that this is another 'insider' job - not insider Bush etc, but insider NWO/Zionists, all in the planning to get the world on its knees to submit to the Illuminati/NWO.
The finger pointing at possible suspects is too quick.
Just a logistical question: how come they can come up with suspects already but didn't have the faintest that the attack was about to happen (and thus could have been prevented)?
They have been pulling the wool over the eyes of the world for quite a few decades and keep following the same MO.
Blowback fits the context of
Blowback fits the context of history. And reality.
Your theory of NWO does not.

The International Backers of the Mumbai Attacks
Les Blough, Editor. Axis of Logic
November 26, 2008
November 26, 2008, Axis of Logic - Reuters states that at least 80 people have been killed and that, "An organisation calling itself the Deccan Mujahideen claimed it was behind attacks". CNN television is already stating as fact that the Mumbai attacks were funded and supported by foreign sources, implicating Pakistan where President-elect Obama promised to take the so-called "war on terrorism" when he assumes office in January. The attacks which are on-going at this moment set the stage for redeployment of U.S. troops from Iraq to Pakistan as Obama promised. George W. Bush has been quick to condemn the attacks and CNN is giving round-the-clock coverage, reminiscent of corporate media coverage of the 9/11 attacks in the United States.

I have yet to see any
I have yet to see any evidence of the New World Order, one world government that many people here talk about. Sure, people here point at certain bills or military actions or alliances or treaties that could be interpreted as a streamlining of international cooperation/relations, but I hardly believe that they are movements toward a massive one world government. This is all speculation. There have been no leaks from government, military, or economic institutions that hint at a unification of all countries under one 'leader'....There is also no precedent for a New World Order. Things like the Roman Empire were created thousands of years ago, under a different system, in a largely different world. The unification of large regions such as Austria-Hungary, Ottoman Empire, the Anschlauss (sp), etc were all legitimized by a national/ethnic/religious commonality between subjects.
The people of the world are too diverse ethnically, religiously, et. al. I know alot of people here are not collectivists, but the truth is that there are too many groups in this world to allow a unification of them all, whether it be around positive conjectures (world peace, end of poverty) or around negative conjectures (New World Order, communism, etc).
Many people here fear the economic or social consequences of things like the 'North American Union.' C'mon: Mexico, Canada, and America are not going to be merged together. Highways are going to be enlarged in order to accomodate greater traffic due to globalization and the increased trade that comes with it. Are we isolationists? No, we are traders, and who better to trade with than our two closest neighbors? Alot of our factories are already going to Mexico, but even more products are coming back. Canada is our largest trade partner. These measures are for the streamlining of trade and commerce, not world unification under one religion, one ruler, and one system of government. Get real. In this capitalist world we live in, its all about the green. :)
Al CIA DUH er I mean Al Qaeda?
I just watched PBS's coverage of these attacks and both "terrorist experts" "speculated" that it was an off shoot or a new group with ties to Al CIA Duh...damn it I mean Al Qaeda. Now both "analysts" both admitted it was purely speculation and their "opinion". Neither one had any evidence or proof it was Al CIA Duh/Al Qaeda. Listening to Coast to Coast AM last night during there 10 minute news breaks, they too said it might "possibly" be Al Qaeda planned. I've heard shit like well "maybe Al Qaeda wasn't directly involved but it sure looks like they planned it". Granted ABC News and PBS are main stream media with ties to the government so don't bash me for using them as a news source. My point is that every fucking time any type of possible terrorism happens the media automatically tries to blame it on Al Qaeda. Most of the time they have no proof and even admit it is purely "speculation". My opinion is that many of the more severe terrorist attacks are perpetrated by the secretive agencies of the world's more powerful governments ie. CIA, M5, Mossad, etc. There well may be small terrorist cells or organizations that do perform acts of terrorism but we will never know because the media almost always predictably tries to blame it on Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas, etc. After some research on the matter Governments all through out history have been the true perpetrators of the majority of the terrorism. Just read the North Woods document in which the United States government was planning a false flag attack against Cuba as an example:

Take Back Your Country!
www.RealityUnKnown.com
I saw it coming!
All the news about the 7.7 trillion had to get squashed somehow.
From the sounds of the news
From the sounds of the news in Oklahoma I will bet we can see more "security" in this country and a bigger loss of rights. There just wasn't enough intelligence in India to catch this before it happened. I wonder if the "terrorists" in India were trained by the same powers that trained the Georgian army.
Not quite...
I believe to suggest the driving force behind this attack was to find westerners is a bit ignorant of the long lasting and ongoing situation in Kashmir.
Hundreds of innocent Indian civilians were just murdered in cold blood, and I think it had much less to do with blowback due to Western presence and more to do with the historic underlying struggle between India's military and militant groups within the disputed Kashmir.
Indeed, there is no denying they were looking for Americans and Brits, but it may have been in order to take them hostage and create an international crisis in order to bring more attention to their cause.
Blowback is very real (and I support Ron Paul on this)...but I don't think it is the 'main' reason behind this attack, and I don't think he would say otherwise.
So you
are also saying that you don't see this as a false flag?? But what it might be is another situation of our knowing it was going to happen and not doing anything about it???
well...
false flag...not really, though certainly more will need to be known about it for me to make that decision with certainty.
However, I do think we need to be weary of how our government (and others of the world) react to this. We could conceivably act in the same way as we would if this were truly a false flag attack.
In other words - I don't think this has as much to do with Americans as we believe it does (more to do with Muslims and Hindus), but our government may act like it does and use this to justify more loss of rights at home and more military action abroad.
I agree
Americans still think the world revolves around this country. Sovereign nations cannot have internal conflict without it having something to do with us. Targeting Americans for hostages is reasonable but many Indians lost there lives. I feel very sorry for those citizens who where going about their daily lives more than a few elites on vacation.
Either/or but not both
It is kinda confusing around here. EITHER we have false flags OR we have blowback. We don't have both for every incident.
It isnt a prediction. It is
It isnt a prediction. It is simply an event that supports the theory of blowback.
Its called blowback
Yes Dr Ron Paul did predict this attack for it is yet another form of blowback just like the taking of our hostages that were also citizens and not military in Iran. Be ready for much more instability across the globe as things start to heat up.
Look Russia is now in Venezuela with war ships.
that's not a prediction....
that's not a prediction.... he never said anything about the risks of tourists being taken hostage, and definitely not anything about India. He's predicted a lot of stuff, but this is way too general and way too much of a stretch.
