Just look at the end the fed rally and the press coverage. He is campaigning right now and it always. Whether or not he decides to run for POTUS is another matter, but he is campaigning nonetheless.

I agree completely. Dr. Paul needs to get out there....NOW....tell the American people he has every intention of running in 12. He should state his reasons for doing so, which we all know so well, his honest concern for the future of our nation and not some political agenda or power.
This he needs to do!! If he gets out there now, front and center, spreading the message as only he can, in the next few years when things get real bad, the people will see him out there with real solutions and they will be attracted, just as I was last fall.

Agreed--a game plan would be nice.
Dr. Paul, ever the true libertarian, believes the people should form their own game plan around him. It worked with the Money Bombs, but that doesn't work in the Republican primaries. If he's going to run Republican again, there needs to be a plan, and one drawn up by wiser folk than his previous campaign staff.

Benton threw out the teaser. I'd very much like to see Dr. Paul run. We really don't have any other good contenders with any political experience. Dr. Paul is a very special man.
But on a side note, I would not mind seeing a Jesse Ventura 2.0 run on the Libertarian Party ticket, saving said party from almost certain oblivion.

Your plea will go unheard because unless you are purporting some off the wall Conspiracy Theory then you will not get many comments concerning a push for an acutal political plan for the future.

Take a good look at the DP....I count at least 6 CTs on the active forum topic...we are being spread very thin by these threads, our eyes are diverted and its not only on the DP, but on every Liberty and Freedom Forum. It almost appears to be a CT...LOL. Liberty and Freedom are being subverted by every possible theory that can be drummed up, dreamed up or found on the internet.

Republicae, I respect and agree with your view,( but the CT you posit should not be regarded as entirely tongue-in-cheek); however, I would not wish to see a return to the old DP orthodoxy which too much resembled conformity to the Machiavellian duopolies’ parlor game paradigm.
I know you were merely sounding a legitimate alarm, and not advocating the net equivalent of censorship and book burning. But I regard discussion of the presidential election 4 years from now as just as tangential a distraction as any CT gracing these pages.... and a good deal more sinister in its effects.
