IRS Abuse Reports
Some of you may be familiar with a manuscript published several years
ago that contained many documented abuses carried out by the IRS
over the years entitled The IRS Abuse Reports.
I feel that this manuscript could serve as the ultimate weapon in familiarizing
the common folk with the logic of why we must uproot this evil entity called the IRS as it contains a great number of personal stories packed with emotion that make even the hardest of souls shed a few tears.

I would love to be excited
I'd love to be excited about this too, but to me it smells of 'bread and circus' while the evil overclass plans its final blow. Perhaps a 'tax holiday' will lead to a new currency or complete fiscal meltdown (in which in wouldn't matter anyway).

I think if this can gain momentum. If this gets passed people will grow used to not paying income taxes. That is why they had a hard time passing them the 1st time. Lets get behind this and push.

Irresponsible, but then again...
It would be irresponsible to suspend taxes without massive spending cuts. However, this idea would give us an opportunity to put a bright spotlight on what the Fed does: print infinite amounts of money and devalue the dollar.

I disagree
that it needs to accompanied by spending cuts. If you deprive them of them of income they will be forced to cut spending down the road. The main things is to keep your money out of their hands.
I fail to see why stopping one form of theft
from taxpayers, to give to bankers and gazillionaires, would be irresponsible. After all they'll continue stealing from us little by inflation, sales taxes, permit and license fees, etc etc etc.

Every time we find someone we like, we immediately try their name out in the vp or pres. I think we are desperate to find a dynamic person. I have the feeling if we all came out from behind our pen names, he is probably in our midst!!

You may say no, but there is certainly a pecking order in politics in terms of selecting candidates for president. Presidential candidates will not be found off of the street these days. They must go through the ranks of public service.

income tax
As unconstitutional as the income tax is, suspending it right now might be fiscally irresponsible. Im not sure what I think about that one. The fed would need to make huge cuts immediately to make that work.
What Id -like- to see is government tightening its belt as we tighten ours. But instead they will want to GROW government which is ridiculous in this economic climate.
Would a halt on the income tax for a year help convince the fed to shrink a bit? Not likely.. they dont get the idea of small government.
Would it help to advance the cause of ending the income tax altogether? Maybe..
