Without government there would be no free market
to speak of.
A monopoly on force is necessary for peace and stability, which are necessary for markets to function.
Lame dude...
By definition, a "monopoly on force" is not peaceful... so how could it possibly promote peace and stability? It's plainly self-contradictory, like saying that violence can bring peace.
Also, why is a monopoly on force necessary? Why not a monopoly on other things as well? What makes force so special?
Furthermore, there is no better institution for bringing peace and stability than a free market.

A monopoly agency initiating force on individuals is a violation of freedom.
There can't be a true free-market with a government.
