Getting Ready: List of Essentials Should The Government Collapse By Global Design
We need to prepare. It's time to get ready. For those out there familiar with the NWO and what's about to transpire, it's time.
We need to keep fighting the infowar - the war of information, but at the same time we MUST prepare for the worst.
We have between 6 to 12 months. My gut tells me it's much closer to 6 if not sooner.
The American economy is going to collapse...by design. As we collapse, the world economy will collapse and then the mayhem will commence.
GET OUT OF THE CITY
If you are in a big city, I'd highly suggest moving away from that city asap. Cities are going to be the center of all the chaos. New Orleans was a microcosm of what's to come.
I've prepared a list - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE feel free to add to this list. The more ideas the better. If it can happen in Iceland, it can happen here....I've been trying to convince myself it's not going to get that bad, but you can only live in denial for so long...
Shotgun - guns, and more guns
Ammo - lots of ammo
Gasoline
Shortwave radio
Batteries
Water filters
Water
Solar Charger
Books to read
Seeds
Toilet paper
toothepaste/toothbrush
Anti-biotic ointment
Vitamins/minerals
antiseptic-alcohol
razors
water tight boots
socks/underwear
plastic baggies
flint
matches/lighters
wood
hygiene wipes
herbs/teas
storable foods
string/rope
cigarettes - yes, smokes - even if you don't smoke.
The absolute essentials will be worth more than their weight in gold. Barter/trade is based on necessity.
I can't believe I am typing this. I want to cry and scream in absolute rage at the same time.

I believe that ff we are
I believe that ff we are going to organize our cause, our energies must be focused on the central cause of the problems that confront us all. This will be a big help for each of us.

"Food For Guns"
Turn in your guns and ammo, and get food from the govment...
There must be an organized resistance once the SHTF, and how that will actually happen is completely unknown.
If I could make a suggestion, the central target of ALL patriots should be the nearest Federal Reserve location - they will become TARGETS of the American People.
If we are going to organize our cause, our energies must be focused on the central cause of the problems that confront us all.
The FED is DEAD.
Better watch out you MFckers, because the American People know the enemy and the enemy is the Federal Reserve.
I think we ought to concentrate our efforts and focus on the primary TARGET.
Once the SHTF, I'd suggest Patriots across America TARGET the FED.
The Fed is DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And we won't have to fire a single shot.
Just show up and surround the nearest by Fed and the People must declare them DEAD!!!!!!
NO MORE USURY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could not help but notice
I could not help but notice that your list---which, of course, was topped with guns---went through 24 items before you got to "food".
Although I have to give you credit for at least mentioning water and water filters.

The items listed were not in
The items listed were not in any particular order...but of course food would be at the absolute top of the list....even before guns and ammo.
If I had to list the top ten it would be...
Food
Water
Guns
Ammo
Batteries
Radio
Solar Charger
Antibiotic
Utility Knife
Flint/Lighter/Firestarter
Another good point though...what are the absolute MOST essential items?
Many people will not be able to supply themselves with everything listed.
Water, in my opinion, should
Water, in my opinion, should come above everything else. Actual stored water. Water filters actually are helpful, too, but fresh water itself would be at the top on my list. If you have a teakettle or boiler, you don't need a water filter.

I have stopped worrying
I have stopped worrying about such things. When the time comes that there are runs on supermarkets, i will bet on the people taking back control of our goverment and then prosecuting every single one that voted for bailouts. We will not go into the deep, darkness of barely surviving. The people will all suddenly wake up and realize that we must help our fellow americans. Communities will band together and trample any politician that says otherwise. Just you wait and see. The second the food in markets is not there, the people will literaly march to washington and kick the asses that need kicking.
when people are trampling
when people are trampling other fellow human being to death over a chinese 600.00 flat screen tv, you really think what you said above is going to happen! YOU BETTER PREPARE FOR YOURSELF AND YOUR OWN FAMILY! NOONE WILL DO IT FOR YOU! read your bible! read the parabl of the 7 virgins!

Not to mention when one is hungry,
one thinks only about food, and doesn't have the energy to do that.
if 60% of the families in
if 60% of the families in this country did this the government or the world elite would not have any control over us at all!

Lasagna?
I went through the list, and it's all good. Except for the lasagna. Who in their right mind in a bad time is going to take the time to make lasagna? A good lasagna with good cheese and meat? Won't happen. Substitute egg noodles and cans of gravy, vegetables, etc.

Check out the weeds in your area.
Many are edible and really good
for you.I'm going to start with dandelions. You can eat the young leaves and the flowers.
I want to get it figured out before the SHTF.
Unless you're moving into the heart of the wilderness
I wouldn't spend money now on non-survival books. You can buy plenty of books CHEAP after TSHTF.
Also, if you're going to buy smokes for trade, seal them in Mylar with O2-absorbers inside. Consider some hard liquor too, especially if you don't drink it yourself. I intend to get some for trade and I'm not the least tempted to drink it up. Even beer and wine hangs around an awfully long time at my house.
The rest of your list looks pretty good. Might beef it up on the first-aid supplies.

That is a very good point.
That is a very good point. As sickened as I was hearing about the Wal-Mart fiasco, I never thought about it that way....and that's a VERY good point to get across to people...just imagine if that was food they were after...a bunch of fat cows trampling over people to stuff their pieholes.
It would be like that Wal-Mart sale X 10,000
Except everyone in line will have to turn in their guns to get food...
