One thing is for certain...
Iran is having her own internal conflict and it is first and foremost an economic one. Because of this many people in Iran are getting ready to oust Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. It looks very possible that in the next Iranian election he will be voted out. As we here all know Ahmadinejad is the President, but this title in reality means he is really Iran's PR guy. The real heavyweight (religious cleric) calls all the shots behind the scenes. Our government in concert with the World Banks wants very much to put a "branch office" on Iranian soil. This plan is not too far off in the near future. Iran's next election will also bring about "change" and not for the better. The sad reality is that everyone has their price. It doesn't matter if you're a Hindu, Muslim or a Christian. It's all about the almighty Krugerrand!
No, they aren't
Israel may be many things, one thing they aren't is stupid.
Iran is a problem that's about to wither away for a while. The hard liners really put their nuts on the line with Kish Island, and it's an experiment that's going to bankrupt them. They could never run their bourse, and now it'll probably be closed by years end.
They kept themselves in power due to Bush's saber rattling, but now that we have a new prez not interested in starting a war over there, they're losing that edge.
They have pushed their people too far, with ridding them of western media and music, enforcing the decency laws, and their attempt at restricting communication. They were able to do it before, but their time is up.
They found out what happened when they tried to knock out US hegemony in the dollar oil field...sorry, didn't work. They're now out of time because all of the new programs they've instituted were running on oil being at least 80 per barrel.
The government is about to collapse, be it from their budget or a popular revolt. The Ayatollas won't allow either, so they'll either put a short chain on Amanadinajad (likely) or even remove him from office. His mouth is about to be shut.
Once this occurs, it forces them to make nice with the new Obama admin, so they're going to have to beg Hillary for a light water reactor in exchange for dismantling their centrifuges.
Iran has seen the writing on the wall...Kahn from Pakistan sold them instructions on how to make a dud. Kim Jong Il figured this out the hard way.
As far as Israel's plans, of course they've drawn up contingency plans to unilaterally attack Iran...that's what intelligence services do with 95% of their time. They play thought games and how would we respond to X situation.
If it's any consolation, i'm sure we have contingency plans for an invasion of Bermuda...but it doesn't mean that it's going to happen.

They don't care where. Obama's wars are going to fall more in line with Clinton wars. It'll be US troops in limited deployments on the horn of Africa most likely. The pirates will draw us in, and some humanitarian crisis or manufactured "genocide" like in the Balkans.
Obama will deploy our troops in a much smaller scale compared to GW, but he'll do it somewhere.
Not in Iran...we've kicked that hornet's nest a little too many times, now we have to play nice.

Who is more dangerous...Iran or Israel?
The former Israeli ambassador to the UN claims that many Arab nations and Russia secretly worry about Iran and would like to see them hammered. This may be true, but I wonder how many more people everywhere, secretly worry about Israel in the same way?
Zionism has been found to be a fraud, a religious hoax that many Christians and Jews subscribe to - that is that it is the divine right of Israel to take the Palestinians land since their bibles say that they were exiled thousands of years ago. This hoax is now a part of US foreign policy since the majority of Americans are Christians and Jews.
Forget those of us who plead for a separation of church/synagogue and state. We are the minority and must join this religious war even though we think their bibles are fantasy.

Uh... not me! It was talk like this that took our country to an unconstitutional and unnecessary war and also started the whole hogwash (does the term "War on Terror" sound familiar?). The only real war that's going on right now, and for quite a while I might add, is the War on Liberty. I've been warning my friends about what could happen instead of crossing my arms and doing nothing. I don't think that I'm doing much by sitting here typing on the computer, to be honest with you. The only thing it does is allow me to speak my mind. It doesn't get me anywhere if I get pissed at the bankers all the time for example. I need to be pro-active. I'm being pro-active. Now, I really need to focus on the communities and say my message out, it might have to be done gradually. That's why I'm going to Easter Island, I'm going to try to see how many people I can talk to about what's going on around the world without being too deep. Talk to tourists and Rapa Nui. I've partially created a blog called Mode-Erf: http://mode-erf.blogspot.com/ and I'm making one in Spanish too. I haven't been on Mode-Erf since a long time, but now I'll be up to date again.

Iran is only a threat to the ruling elite of the world and
the current order of things. Iran has said many times that they just want liberty and sovereignty. America and the ruling elite in Israel won't have it. They want Iran's oil. They want to control things in the Middle East. Everything has to be on the Corporate Elite's terms.

Iran did say this. Ahmedinejad did not. The turn of phrase comes from an english translation provided by the IRNA (which is the iraninan national news agency, which is a official arm of the government in a way that NPR is not). Now, this is not an official english translation, but it is a translation by the government.

You know what, let 'em. Israel would kick Iran's ass in less than a year, and then leave, just like they have done three times in the last 60 years. I disagree with wars of this nature, but if Americans see Israel beat up on this supposedly big bad nation of Iran unilaterally, maybe people will start to realize that they don't need us. Of course they would be using our subsidies, but they do provide for most of their own defense budget and I think that if that issue was brought to light, it would finally spark a debate about the program.

The war-corp called Israel never stops scheming. Compare the latest threat scenario with this one, dating back to late August of 2008:
"Russian forces are still holding 12 of 22 Georgian servicemen taken prisoner in Poti last week, including two Yemini Jews, disguised as Arabs. On one of these, Russian military intelligence interrogators found a packet of reports, wrapped in plastic and taped to the man's back. This packet consisted of 'the highest level security matters.'
This concerned the ongoing plan to base Israeli fighter-bombers at Marneuli military airbase, 20 kilometers south of Tbilisi and that these aircraft were intended for a special air raid on the Iranian capital city of Tehran. It was originally felt that six aircraft were to be utilized, three attacking the city itself and three to attack targeted Iranian oil facilities.
The captured Israeli's papers, all written in Hebrew, when translated by the Russian GRU turned out to be somewhat different in nature. While one flight was indeed intended to attack various Iranian oil facilities, the second flight was planned to drop chemical warfare bombs on Tehran. These bombs, which were designed to blow open at a set altitude, were filled with weapons-grade anthrax and this anthrax, kept in a specially sealed box at the U.S. diplomatic offices in Tiblisi, came from Fr. Detrick in Maryland and their shipment had the approval of the President himself. Another twist to the bizarre plot was that the aircraft, made in the United States, were to have their Israeli marking masked with American markings and that these markings were to be applied in a water-based paint that could easily be hosed off when this flight returned to Georgia."
