Lindsey Williams: "We're in a short grace period". Folks do not dismiss this--it could be life or death
Last night Pastor Lindsey Williams (the guy who had insider info on $50 oil while it was around $150 and rising) gave an interview and laid out another tidbit from the same conversation.
He said that we are in a "grace period" right now, but it won't last long. If you have been hesitating on your preparedness, now is the time to fix that.
Hopefully, he got bad info (the oil thing makes me doubt it) and we are not going to see a "collapse unlike any ever witnessed on Earth" and you'll have some extra grub in the cupboard and a bunch of fun weekends shooting your many many rounds. But, if he is right and the US government defaults on its loans and we see a historic collapse of the system, you will be damn glad you got ready.
I'm sure there will be all kinds of people here telling me why I'm wrong and shouldn't be telling you this stuff. "Doom and Gloom" they'll say, or "the sky is falling". You know what, I don't care about them. I care about YOU! Please make sure you have everything you might need to "rough it" for some time. Sit down and have a talk about what lifestyle you are willing to lead should the worst set in. Whatever you do, don't be caught off guard if anything should occur. You don't get to press rewind in this movie.
I'm not scared. I'm actually curious to see what's next. But I could leave here tomorrow and live for well over a year without leaving one spot. Not really my top choice, but it feels really good knowing if I need it, it's there.
Oh, one more thing Pastor Williams said was very important, listen to or read alternative media daily starting now. Events will begin happening in even closer succession and apparantly we will know when the next chapter is unfolding.
Remember, this is not fear-mongering it is a little shake to get you to take action if you haven't already.
This is the same guy who also said John McCain would win.
He is half correct in my book. So it is a little difficult for me to follow 50%.
We forget God controls all events good and bad not the elite with a little e.
He will provide for those who are his. We must prepare for hard times but trust God with a big G.
This LW guy uses a lot of words, a lot of
repetition to actually say very little. And what he does say (when he finally gets around to it) is very cryptic and vague. Please remember one thing....most of the people out there with all these conspiracy theories du jour are selling something. So, they first need to create a market don't they?

There is no better way to know that no matter what comes down the pike, you're ready for it.
Thinking for yourself should involve protecting your future. You could go a lifetime without seeing any news and still know you need to eat and stay warm.

He has a very big gap in his logic, which is why I don't think this is going to happen.
$40 oil may very well put the hurt on a lot of the Arabs. Dubai real estate should begin to get REAL chep. The Iranian bourse is finished, and it never really started.
To think that if Arabs stop buying US debt it will collapse the dollar is far fetched though. They really don't buy that much debt from us, and there are plenty of other willing buyers. All of the OPEC nations combined own less that 5% of our foreign debt, which is very small in comparision to England, China, and Japan. Last I checked, we owe more money to caribbean islands than to the Arabs.
What this may do is force the US Treasury to raise interest rates to attract new investors...which isn't great but they're so low right now it's incredible. I've never seen someone offer 0.010% interest on anything, but they're selling and someone's buying.
I do believe this is wrong, and there's no reason to worry about this occuring.
That being said...it is ALWAYS advisable to be prepared for the worst. It doesn't have to be an organic collapse...hell, we don't even know if a large sunstorm couldn't knock out our power transmission system. It could be a massive earthquake, flood, whatever.
You should always have at least 6 months of food (I recommend Top Ramen) and anything else you may need.
I also can't underestimate what a few hundred bucks of liquor will do for you if a need arises. It is as good as gold. Not to mention it's a cheap form of entertainment, it's also a good antiseptic, good to start fires with, and it makes a simple thing to trade with.
Put it this way, if you're bored to death and have plenty of food, would you sell some of your food for a few silver coins, or maybe a Liter of Vodka?

I ignored him about the 50.00 oil prediction! when he hit it I have paid attention to him. He also said that he did not think we would see 50.00 oil this fast. He said the elite have speeded up there time frame.. so we have 6 months to a year to get ready.. Some say that when the arabs start to sell and quit buying our treasury debt that it will not hurt us.. I asked him about his statement of " they are doing this to bankrupt the Arabs".
I asked who are "they"?
Response: the Global Elite,Heads of the IMF,World Bank.
I asked why wouldn't OPEC band together and control the supply,therefore raising the price.
Response: OPEC has no "say so" in the matter ,and that they are just a front group of "face men".
I then asked why should we believe him.
Response:. AJ got pissed off and started ranting about how HE has been right and LW has been right about most everything,and to judge a tree by its fruits.
He ranted about not focusing on the messenger,and focusing on the message.

While I agree with some of the posts (get on with it man!), the future he is talking about actually makes a lot of sense. As long as we have countries willing to service our debt, our government can stay afloat indefinitely. But if our support crumbles, we will not be able to stand up under our own weight.
I don't particularly care for his delivery style, but I did not personally feel that he came across as bad as those below. Check it out for yourself and derive your own conclusions.

I don't think his info is "wrong" per se, however....
it is being delivered in a form to manipulate us. Frankly, YIPPEEE if gas goes to a buck. It's about time.
And all this talk about the dollar collapsing. With what we KNOW it should have happened already. It's because of what we DON'T KNOW that keeps it up. And as far as we know that could continue indefinitely.

I can smell some snake oil...just go compare RP's plain words or peter schiffs with his. I have no doubt some would manipulate for personal gain, but "control" is an illusion as long as we believe in it just like spending the fiat dollars.
As quickly as oil, house prices up, they come back down. No one can fool the market of supply and demand in the long run much like cheating gravity.

He did suddenly pull his website that had a bunch of other stuff. Maybe he crossed the line. Who knows, there's so much BS floating around these days it's hard to sort it out sometimes. But, remember the early 90's when we had to scour used book shops for obscure magazines just to find out what Bush 1 was doing in Kuwait/Iraq? The info wasn't always good, but it MOSTLY was. Now I think the stew is a little thicker and the bad info or deliberate dis-info is in direct competition with the real important stuff.
Like you said, it's never a bad idea to be prepared. And the guy was right about oil prices---that is uncanny considering how high it was at the time.

At this late date, what could happen to them if they let out what they were up to? What could be done to spoil their plot at this stage, with the culmination only one year out? Can you stop it? We all saw how effective Ron Paul's campaign was to save the country immediately. The campaign was a necessary thing, and will win in the long run, but it wasn't about to save us from what is coming down the pike, in the short term.

Maybe the insiders that Williams
is talking about have become reckless because they are overconfident and arrogant. That wouldn't be the first time that has happened. Yes, their boasting could conceivably cause problems for them, but for the past 40 years it hasn't.

And so far it's been accurate. Is he being played for an eventual disinformation ploy? Possibly, but his reports are worth considering at this point.

I heard his AJ interview and now this one. He repeats himself often and kind of drags out his information.....Then wants to sell books, DVD's, CD's, etc so that he can "give" us info that he "didn't have time to get to" on a limited-time radio show.
