a week ago I saw a wolf for the first time...I was on a greyhound bus and could see the wolf perhaps 10 feet from me.
Sheer beauty.......made me think of Jack London stories which I read as a child.

They are beautiful creatures
I used to have an office on the very outskirts of town, directly abutting a major park area. Less than 20 feet from my window was the great wilderness, woods for miles, with bears, wolves, moose, and every other creature imagineable. Quite often I'd be at my desk, facing out the window, and watch a wolf walking by right along the edge of the woods. It never failed to amaze me, every time. Such interesting and beautiful creatures.
