It would be nice to get some farmers and farmer's wives to listen to the podcast. It might be encouraging for them.
Actually, they are probably already smart enough to see that they are in a relatively good position.
Except, I just thought. Hmmm. Me worrying again. Is President Obama going to impose price controls on food prices when food prices (and other prices) start going up?
Man. We are going to have a number of opportunities to complain loudly about bad economics. We (those who understand liberty) will need to lead the populist backlash against government insanity. Get ready.

I don't know
farmers can't make a profit right now. Even if they can hold on to their land they will likely lose it to ever increasing real estate taxes. Eventually, no one will be allowed to own land. Precious metals can be confiscated.
I think we need to invest in ourselves. The person who survives will be a jack of all trades or someone who can do something that very few people can do.
I think I am going to go out and buy a bunch of how to books, or any book that teaches how to make it, fit it, reuse it, grow it, breed it, birth it. etc. I wonder if they have that for dummies. LOL

A book suggestion to get you started
The Encyclopedia of country living by Carla Emery. It's a huge book, and the author covers everything you can think of, from birthing a baby by yourself to dressing deer, antelope, elk and goats (and then how to make rugs, blankets and clothes from the skins!). I'm not kidding when I say everything is in this book.

Countries are buying up Treasuries like crazy, but not because they have any faith in the dollar at all. They know that the Fed will not be able to monetize those Treasuries if the time were to come, so they would be forced to pledge collateral. Assets, infrastructure, something to repay those debts.
Of course, that is equally bad news.

the truth is- the rest of the world is NO LONGER PLAYING!!!!!! the fed res. and the treasury are up to their eyeballs with the word NO from all around the world! This is great news! What Americans have refused to admit or understand -that the dollar is done- -that the war on terror is a sham and that the government has been hi-jacked and are the terrorists- is exactly what the other countries have been forced to do/admit and have essentially brought this part of History-the dollar and soon the cabal- to an end. I know there are those on this site that do not see it, but i am telling you, that is the way it is. Soon, very soon, there will be NO WAY the MSM can cover this up any longer. The time is now patriots to be what was designed for all along. We are here to help others understand what exactly they do not. We will have the peace and prosperity that was born to us. Of that, I am positive. Will there be hard times ahead? yes. Will it involve prison camps, no. Why do you think Dr. Paul stayed away from the talks about the car companies?
