Submitted by joeFL on Mon, 12/08/2008 - 20:34
Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich announced Monday that he is asking all Illinois government agencies to suspend business with Bank of America. Blagojevich contended that Bank Of America received a multi-billion dollar bailout from the government and should accordingly restore credit to the Republic Windows & Doors company in Chicago.

Gov. Blagojevich is
Gov. Blagojevich is extremely corrupt as most all Illinois politicians are...
he has just been indicted by the FBI today
Seems like the state of IL will suspend him as well....
Rod is the problem
Rod should be tarred and feathered.
He is the very reason this country is in this state of affairs. I assure you, the window company's troubles have absolutely nothing to do with Bank of America.
Didn't the owners of the company SAVE anything?
Didn't the workers stick a little back for hard times?
Do they undersatnd how commerce works?
Supply and demand. No demand for the windows now.
This is basically what is going to happen to 95% of the companies in the U.S. in the next 12 months.
Diverting attention away from the real problem is the oldest politcal ploy in the book

Why don't they just round up the factory owners ...
... put them on the spot and make them pay the workers their money that they are owed. Sounds like the owners are going to skip town, or already have. They're the ones who broke the 60 day notice law. It's criminal what the owners did to these people.

The Winds of Change!
I pulled my BoA accounts months ago cuz of their crazy fees
Funny thing, we first needed banks because they were the only safe place to put our money.
Now that we must have banks to be financially literate, banks are looting checking and savings accounts with ridiculous fees and such.
Further, interest on credit cards used to be regulated, but in the past decade or so, lenders have been allowed/encouraged to shoot up so high, they make loan sharks blush.
Hatred of usury used to be so prevalent in our US culture, any bank who would have tried any of the horrible practices that most banks do, would have been run out of the country on a rail.
So first, the government had to destroy that (as well as many other) element of our culture...then it had to open the floodgates for banks.
This was a cultural and economic attack...pure and simple.
So yes, pull your accounts from immoral banks, but also seek to regain our great culture.
How many times have you heard, "the US has no culture". I've heard it alot. Well, it is not true. But hey, as we are all conservatives, I'm speaking to the choir.
But please understand that being conservative means we seek to conserve our culture. Anything else is to destroy that cutlure.
BOYCOTT.....YES.....
I agree, I will go today and close my accounts with them. We must stand with the people and show some unity.
This is the shot heard round the world if we make it so.
