I'm writing this on behalf of others here who may not feel comfortable just saying it outright.
I don't know much about much, and I'm damn proud of that. I made it this far in life, I must be doing something right. What I DO know is that there ain't no such thing as chemtrails, a bunch of crazy arabs definitely brought down the twin towers, and there ain't no no "new world order". Hell the stockmarket's soaring. It's gone up now two days in row and you guys say times are getting bad. TWO DAYS!!! That's twice as long as a whole day. Think about, you can't believe nothing unless you learned it public school or they show it on the news. All the rest is just words and pictures. And I ain't looking at no words or pictures lessen I'm told to by the proper authorities.
I ain't stupid. I learned when I was a kid and that was enough. Now I just count on the government to keep me smart and I think they do a damn good job.

Right, Mike, but the thing is your government didn't do a good job of teaching 9-11 Truthers about what constitutes truth. So far no one has been able to produce proof for contrails (such as photos of the sprayers, or the tanks, or samples of what they are spraying, or where the planes are taking off and landing). Now maybe there is a sort of "New World Order" thing happening, considering many elites have used this term, but there isn't any evidence that it includes the type of tin-foil hat theories I've heard expressed in these forums. 9-11 was, as Ron Paul explained, blow-back from bad foreign policy.
And the other more important thing is, Ron Paul has disavowed such beliefs. Not for political reasons, but because he has looked at the picture of what is happening to make this world go bad and has realized it is a bad philosophy held by these statists. They are called Progressives or Socialists or any number of political hats that are opposed to freedom.
There is a very real but somewhat less X-Files-sexy struggle happening in this world. No it isn't as exciting as a secret cabal of evil people, but they need to be fought nonetheless. If we are going to win this struggle we need to have an accurate view of the struggle, not a Hollywood movie view of life. I half suspect that the people promoting tin-foil views here are trying to undermine this movement by demolishing our credibility.

People flocked to Ron Paul because of his extraordinary record. But someone like him is extremely rare. Also, he ain't giving us anything to work with anymore.
Like the first rule of Fight Club, no one who on the inside of the 'big picture' is willing to tell anyone else about the big picture.
Ron Paul had a great record...but, ummm, he really isn't spilling the beans. I suppose if he did, his career, life, and family's life would be in peril. Still, that leaves us with nada, zip, zilch to work with.
We need the big picture. And since the powers that be aren't going to lay it out for us, we need to make our own big picture. Trying to fight in their system is futile. However, we won't come together to make our own big picture...cuz I'm talking about making our own nation (alah, Galt's Gulch, CSA, etc.)...and people don't have the stomach for that.
Like the mainstream news...we are just supposed to trust alternative news without any real disclosure. Zeitgeist, Alex Jones, 9/11 truthers, etc. can't really prove anything...they can just create doubt. Well, that isn't good enough. I already doubt the government.
Even after Ron Paul spilled some beans, he switched his transparent plan to something opaque...and we all suffered for it. We must believe our principles and truths are powerful enough to stand the waves of media slander. We must be willing to have some of our people assasinated by the powers that be without batting an eye. Our resolve must be absolute.
And I don't see nearly enough people ready to engage in that kind of revolution. Heck, even the Revolutionaires weren't like that. Wealthy land-owning colonists mostly hired mercs to fight the US Revolutionary war. England hired mercs to fight for them.
Now Israel has US military mercs fighting their wars. That is how far down the chain the US has gotten.
So, I've pretty much given up being part of some movement, party, organization. Instead, I've thrown nearly all my passion in improving my life: getting debt-free, getting as healthy as I can, getting modern credentials for a well-paying career, preparing in case the poo hits the fan, etc.
I won't give any party, any politician one more penny. And no, I won't be desperately buying gold to barter or desperately selling my jewelry to sick usurists. That is two sides of a sick cowardly coin. I buy life-affirming knowledge and guns...and if I ever get physically oppressed, I'll kill a few before they kill me.
